2 nights at Yeti Sanctuary

Excellent place to camp! Beautiful and peaceful. Tim was very friendly.

We booked the Lakeside cabin and tent spot for a cold couple of nights in April, and it was an amazing experience. The land is beautiful and secluded, the pond was frozen over, there was plenty of firewood provided, the host and neighbors have adorable friendly dogs that came to play with us. A couple of us slept in the tent, and a couple more slept in the cabin to stay out of the 30° weather. We had an absolute blast. This site is far enough away from town that you probably will not have *any* cell signal the whole time you’re there, but close enough that you can make a 20 minute drive down the mountain if you need to call anyone. The cabin is simple and rustic but pretty cozy and well stocked. We couldn’t get the propane grill to light, but we were able to cook over the fire with equipment provided. I have already recommended this site to several friends and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, gorgeous camping experience — just know your limits and think carefully if you’re booking during cold weather.

Me and my partner car camped here for the night last minute and everything was perfect! Tim was very quick to get back to us when we booked and to answering questions we had. Upon arrival Tim showed us where we would be staying and explained the area a bit to us. We loved this spot so much it was a perfect spot to pull in and chill for the night! And bonus points for having wood already supplied for us to have a fire! Definitely would come back!!

This little cabin on the pond was absolutely incredible. I can't wait to go back in the summer time and enjoy the pond even more. Would highly recommend staying here. And what an incredible host Tim was.

I had such an awesome time glamping at the yeti cabin with my cat and dog!:) the location is gorgeous surrounded by mountains and a little pond. I enjoyed the campfire at night and ice skated in the morning. I will never forget this trip! The cabin is tiny but mighty and stocked with everything you might need. It did get chilly at night so bring your sleeping bag/heater. The host Tim & his lovely wife are so welcoming and so nice! They provided lots of information and were super responsive. I went there as a solo camper and felt very safe. Highly recommend!

Had a quick reservation mid November and although we caught some snow, It was a great experience. Tim met us and guided us to our campground and was very helpful and nice Definitely recommend!

We were in the area for tent camping and found a spot on Tim's land that worked well for us. It snowed more than we expected and Tim was super helpful, he cleared the driveway for us so we'd be able to get out safely in the morning. The view was amazing!

I rent out cabins/camping spots almost every other week and this has been one of my favorites. This spot has everything you can think of. So many games, a kayak and a row of bikes. The location is amazing and feels so secluded. My dog adored the pond and we played all day!
