Located on the Choctawhatchee river, The Lazy River home is 1 mile up river from the bay and located just off of the big river. You are able to access the best of both worlds here including Crab Island, the fresh water springs and the big river. Stay in the river and catch bass, bream and catfish or venture into the bay and catch redfish, trout and mullet. The home features a private concrete boat launch, dock, and boat lift in the brackish water canal behind the home for your boat. Enjoy accessing the home for your stay by water or land. Our favorite way to access is by boat- launching at the West Bay bridge in Panama City and running down the intracoastal waterway into the bay. When accessing our property by vehicle, be prepared to drive 17 miles off of highway 79 with a 4 mile portion of that being a dirt road. We can not guarantee the condition of the dirt road portion of your drive for your stay, however the dirt road is graded weekly. Enjoy the seclusion of this area while still being in close proximity to Panama City Beach and 30A. Pier Park in Panama City Beach is where you can find the nearest grocery stores, shopping and restaurants in a 35-40 min drive from the home. Once you are here, its likely you will want to stay and not leave though so bring plenty of good meals to cook and enjoy! The home features a private screened cookhouse with a wood burning grill, satellite TV and plenty of private parking for your vehicle and boat trailer.

Whether you are looking for a family vacation, a fishing trip, or a romantic getaway, we've got you covered! The living room, dining area, and kitchen areas are in the middle of the home and each end has a bedroom and bathroom. This cute cottage is freshly renovated with white shiplap walls, coastal blue and tan Plank flooring, a new kitchen and bathrooms, fresh new porches, and large fixed pane windows that look out over a grove of gorgeous live oaks in the back yard. Bay Camp is very private and quiet but close enough to town to enjoy driving your golf cart into town to dinner. The only neighbors are the owners, who also live on the property. The Bay Camp Cottage is a lovingly restored vintage mobile home/beach cottage. It is very cute and modern coastal with shiplap walls and all-new everything on the inside. You will love Bay Camp! We live next door. Pets are not allowed.

Recently, the owner's decided to nestle a cottage onto the front 4 acres of the property to allow guests the opportunity to experience the best of both worlds - The Forest and the Beach! 30A's Camp Coastal was created to be a magical and unique getaway destination for guests to truly experience the scenic beauty of Point Washington State Forest that envelopes 30A, while being just a short walk from the Gulf of Mexico. Camp Coastal allows you the opportunity to step back in time and enjoy the Old Florida of days gone by, enjoy nature surrounded by wildlife - yet just a short bike path away from Dining, Shopping and Beach memories waiting to be made. Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch while the deer feed throughout the woods. Grill out on the deck while watching the game on the outdoor Smart TV. Enjoy a meal with the family - dinning outside. Or how about cocktails and laugh filled conversations in the evenings, sitting by the firepit and viewing the stars overhead. HOWEVER, don't forget your swimsuit too! There's a 1/2 mile paved bike path from Camp Coastal to the Ed Walline public beach access! There's also Gulf Place across the street from the beach with it's numerous restaurants, shopping and activities. Also to note if vacationing with children or teens - appx. 1/2 mile just north of Camp Coastal along 393 is Helen McCall Park. A wonderful playground with a splash pad for the younger kids and a great skatepark with a bowl for the older ones.
