30 Acres of Mostly Wooded Land just outside Atlanta and convenient to the highway. We bought this property that borders our home about a year ago to stop it from becoming townhomes. We're working in the direction of building an event space and airbnb tiny home community but until then we have put in a few RV spots to start sharing this beautiful property. We have walking trails down to a creek and bridge with more to come.

Goats and Birds at Hideaway Farm

2 sites · RVs3 acres · Tucker, GA
Learn more about this land: We have a suburban hobby farm hidden away in the undeveloped acreage at the back of a 1960s subdivision. Everyone who comes down the driveway says "What?! How is this here? This is so cool!" And they are right. 4 friendly adult goats, 5 free-ranging hens, 5 cartoonishly-cute ducks. It's a happy place! The woods around us support several owls, Coopers hawks, some deer and an occasional red fox. There is a small nature trail that features several beautiful places to meditate by the babbling creek. Access to our neighborhood's recreation area as our guest to the swimming pool is available for an extra fee of $3/person (May-Oct). (For the safety of our goats, your fur babies larger than 10lbs are not permitted. One of our goats lost an eye once to a dog, and she's never fully forgiven me. ) We have several housemates, so parking is limited to street parking (one vehicle for you).  Short 1 min walk to campsite. Amenities on-site- Animal cuddling. Nature Trail. Wildlife Watching. Creek wading. Gardening help. Wi-Fi Amenities Nearby- Bike Path (The PATH Foundation) - 5 min. Stone Mountain Park - 13 min. Downtown Tucker Restaurants - 7 min PLEASE NOTE: This property is in a flood plain, so if heavy rains are in the forecast, you will want to make alternative arrangements.

Wild & Free Farm

4 sites · RVs, Tents13 acres · Palmetto, GA
WELCOME, tent campers, RV campers and tiny house owners to WILD & FREE FARM! We provide warm hospitality, a beautiful camping environment and amenities to meet your logistical needs (bathroom access, a 30 amp and 50 amp hook-up and water hook-up). Our story..........We moved from an in-town Atlanta neighborhood to Chattahoochee Hills in 2019 in order to be closer to extended family and to immerse ourselves in nature. This leap-of-faith move has proven to be the most life-giving decision our family has ever made. We cherish this community: our rural neighbors of Chattahoochee Hills, our neighbors of Serenbe, as well as the community of wildlife that resides all around us. This is a land rich in natural and cultural history cared for by the Hearn family for generations prior. Some of the family members have generously shared their oral history with us. Come stay a while, and if you are interested, we will share those stories with you!
