The back of our farm runs along the Echeconnee Creek which was once inhabited by Native Americans. We have found many arrow and spearheads here and we are just 20 minutes from the Ocmulgee Indian Mounds where they host a festival each September. BRING YOUR HORSES TO RIDE THE TRAILS! The Echeconnee swamp is home to Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets and Bald Eagles among many other species of Wildlife. Our 86 acres of lush shady Bridle paths wind along the creek with tributaries to splash through on hot days. Enjoy the flora and fauna of Georgia's rich bottom lands and huge virgin hardwoods. We have a charcoal grill, and a fire pit. Feel free to gather wood from anywhere on the property for the fire pit. Bring charcoal lighter to get the fire going unless you are a primitive survivalist. WE ALSO HAVE A PLAYGROUND FOR SMALL CHILDREN! We do NOT have a public shower but the Love's station is 3 miles away and they have several super nice showers available at their truck stop! The barn lounge has a full size fridge and microwave, ceiling fan for relaxing and watching the lessons and horse training! Sign up for a few lessons while you are here! (when an instructor has an opening, must book in advance) Bring your own horses and ride the trails! **warning** there are a few weeks mid summer in the South when the deer flies are swarming and the trails are not good for riding horses! Meet our beautiful Friesian stallion! INCREDIBLE photo ops! We have huge open spaces for turning large RV's and horse trailers with living quarters around and many huge shade trees to park under. WE DO NOT HAVE 30amp electrical hook ups but have had many large RV's turn off their hot water heaters and use propane on their fridges and the 20 amp circuit was plenty to power the rest of their RV. Fiber optic wifi coming March 8th 2024 for better wifi service!

The property has two tent sites and one car camping site that can also accommodate a small camper. Enjoy fishing and camping right by the water. This beautiful 15 acre track hosts 2 private ponds. Both ponds are fully stocked with bass, bream, catfish, carp and crappie. Tent campsites are located all around the 2.5 acre pond. Keep up to 8 lbs of fish for your family or $3.50 lb thereafter. (catch and release is OK). A fishing license is not required on this private property. Campfires are allowed inside your site's fire pit, so bring your own firewood and enjoy a great cookout at night. The lake(s) are kept overly stocked so the fishing is almost always great! Expect to catch fish ranging from 2 lbs - 60lbs. Our farm raised Channel Catfish are hard to beat when it comes to great taste. We have a live bait and tackle shop on site along with food/snacks. If you are looking to catch a lot of fish with family and friends you can't beat Jerry’s Lake.
