A beautifully wooded half acre, corner lot located on a quiet road near Lake Cascade. It is situated just across the lake from Tamarack Ski Resort, with tons of hiking and biking trails, boating, and fishing nearby. The lot is a quick .4 mile walk or drive to the Boulder Creek State Park boat launch and beach area. The towns of Donnelly and Cascade are just a short drive away as well. There are two RV spots available as well as space for tent camping if needed. This listing is for the entire property. **NOTE: there is electric and water hookup for ONE, and sewer hookups for TWO. The power on site includes one 30 amp outlet and one 110v outlet that may also be used with the proper adapter. **We have one extension cord available for your use if needed. Lock code provided day of arrival.

Garden Valley River Access Campsite

The address to the house next door is 519 MiddleFork Rd, Garden Valley, ID 83622. That will get you to the property. The property is right after 519 it is a large open lot that leads down to the river. There is a black military vehicle parked on the very end close to the house. So there are two sections 1st is a flat section where you have plenty of room to set up tents and RVs. It is right off the road, and any car can get to the site with ease. The 2nd section is more wooded and has access to the river. You are welcome to tent camp here it is just getting an RV down there and out can be a challenge I don't recommend it. Also, the bridge across the river is the neighbors and so is the property across the river. There are roughly 4 campsites on the property but can camp where you want really. Large flat spot above the river that has access to the water. Half of the property is a flat spot for RV's and tents the 2nd half is more green, woody and has access to the river. There is a deeper spot in the river that is 3-4 feet deep and is perfect to lounge in during the hot parts of the summer. Please pack out what you pack in and keep the place nice for the next camper. This property, which we named Butterfield Farms, was built in 1915 by August Broderson, who emigrated from Germany to the US in 1892. The Broderson family lived here for decades and were a prominent family in Weiser history. Learn more about this land:The campsite is located on our small family-run farm in Weiser, ID. Our 2 1/2 acre historic farm is located in the heart of town, so you have the best of both worlds: easy access to town amenities, and a restful retreat in nature at the end of the day. Grocery store, seasonal farmer's market, coffee shop, eateries, library, and downtown shops are all within easy walking or biking distance. Weiser is known world-wide for its annual fiddle festival in June! Our campsite is within walking or biking distance of all of the Fiddle Week activities. Campsite is located underneath a large shady oak tree. Campers are welcome to use the fire pit when fire bans are not in effect. Electric hookups are located immediately next to the campsite, as well as a non-potable water source. Note that we are located in town and campers are required to observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am and be courteous of neighbors.

The Sawtooth Monkey is a fictional character who lives in the Sawtooth mountains in Idaho, this creature is a crossbreed of a salmon and baby Bigfoot. Breeding and divine intervention took place circa 1989 when the 1989 fire hit the SF region of the Payette river. Baby Bigfoot had no where to go but the river, he was saved by a school of salmon who by Deus ex machina and the Idaho river God, Beeraspirits transformed Bigfoot and the Alpha 15 pound papa salmon into the Sawtooth Monkey. When SM hit puberty he developed a skin condition and an appetite for coconuts. He is currently friendly but a nuisance, because of his skin problems he is known for stealing ointment, lotions and sunscreen. Also, because of his love for coconuts, he is known for steal those too. Should you confront or come in contact with this elusive creature, please don't feed him anything but coconuts.
