Kraay's Market & Garden

The property has so much history. Larry purchased the 16 acres in 1978 as nothing but a field. His dream was to raise Arabian Horses, so that is what the property was set up to do and he did just that, very successfully. Personally, I love to ride horses and hike there. You may be greeted by horses or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account). If you are a horse or dog lover, you are able to interact with our animals on the property! I am on the property, as well, for any questions/issues/concerns. Enjoy local wineries and farm to table restaurants nearby. We allow dogs and horses! Our property is not fenced for dogs. Dogs to be well mannered or leashed during your stay. For RVs / Travel Trailers - - Our primary site has water and full 50amp service. We are able to provide a converter for from 30 to 50amp for this spot. - Our secondary spot is a covered RV Bay with water and 30amp service. This spot is large enough for the tallest 5th wheels and your slide outs. - Utilities are $35/night. We do not allow generators. For Tent / Car Camping - - Our primary spot for tent camping is on the front lawn, alongside the house. - We have a 1/2 bathroom with a toilet and sink available We are a private home, not a public RV park or campground, which means we, the owners, live on the property and occasionally work here during the day, including in our shop where the shared half bathroom is located. While this bathroom is a shared amenity, it is not a requirement for us to provide it. We offer several spots for our guests and may host more than one party at a time. Arrivals are flexible, allowing guests to arrive at their convenience. Our goal is to provide a beautiful, relaxing country stay for all our guests to enjoy equally. We ask that each guest be mindful that, because the bathroom is in the shop, the shop may occasionally be in use for property maintenance as needed. We also ask that each guest be respectful of others who may be staying with us. Start your Hagerman adventure at our Hagerman Homebase! Approximately 0.08 acres of private ground with shade trees and a water hook up and close to everything! Bring your trailers or tents and enjoy all Hagerman, Idaho has to offer! Site can accommodate multiple trailers, it does have two RV power hookups equipped with both 30 and 50 amp breakers, but to use both hookups you must pay for the two sites available. There is only once hydrant with city water, with a splitter so it accommodates both RV spots. Location is about 0.8 miles from the center of town where you can enjoy multiple restaurants, shops, coffee shop, wine tasting, bars and the grocery store. We live in a quite neighborhood surrounded by beautiful farmland. There is very little noise and traffic and the night sky is amazing!!We're located one mile from US-93 and 10 minute driving distance to Twin Falls for fun shopping, great bars and restaurants, and historic hotsprings within the area. Just a mile up the road are the fish ponds, a great place to explore and get the catch of the day or head down to the Snake River for more water related opportunities. There are nice parks nearby and great opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, ATV and dirt biking, biking and running trails, boating, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing or snow boarding. There is excellent outdoor recreation any season of the year. The great Snake River canyon is 2 miles away with nearby Nationally Recognized Shoshone Falls, the Niagra of the West, with a drop of nearly 500 feet.We truly live in an amazing part of the world! Nearly every day of the year you can watch the BASE jumpers from the Perrine bridge, one of the only legal places in the country. You name it, you can do it here. We're only a few hours from Yellowstone National Park and historic Sun Valley is 90 mins north or the famous City of Rocks rock climbing area can be found south of here.About 45 minutes to an hour north of here is Craters of the Moon National Monument for some excellent caving hiking and exploring.We use this area for storing vehicles or riding toys so please be respectful of our homes and the neighbors.
