Located near snake river/Sunnyslope wine country, and golf course. 30 to 45 minutes from Boise but feels like you are away from civilization. Pet friendly area and no nearby neighbors. Amazing opportunity to s t a r g a z e. Although there is room for multiple campers, we have limited the reservations to 4 spots. Drug free!

Micone Ranch

Our place is 28 acres, and you can camp anywhere. We can host many people but only want one group at a time. Keep in mind that winter brings snow, and we have a small bridge to cross and a slanted driveway. We are open year-round but make sure your tires can handle our terrain.
Reserve a spot and then add any additional tents/rv/vehicles used for sleeping, that will be with you as an additional guest. You can also add extra sleeping structures under the extra tab. Huge windy driveway can accommodate rv campers.
A creek runs through the front of the property year-round. Cleared spots available in the non-snow months are small so tent camping only. It is densely wooded. We do have goats in this field. but they are generally shy.
Camping areas that people have liked are up top by the top field gate, or down in the field that our large chicken coop is in. There are no large animals in those areas, but chickens do make noises. Up top we have roosters that make noise about 5 am. the lower field on the right is the quietest.
The bridge at the entrance to our property is 11' wide, which should allow a standard 8' RV to pass into the property. If you own an extra-wide RV's you should check its width before booking. Extra-wide RV's can park outside the property if you just need a place to park.

Walking distance from a working dairy if you ever wanted to see one. We have a 90x130 riding arena, should you be hauling horses yourself and need to let them out. Sweet Pepper Ranch is a small-scale horse ranch in the high desert of southwestern Idaho. We are nestled in a rural agricultural setting yet close to stores and conveniences. We raise and train horses and work all day to exercise and train our horses as well as run the day-to-day aspects of running a large horse property.
Our equestrian facilities include individual paddocks with attached runs (12’ x 52’), automatic waterers, feeders, rubber stall mats, a 200' x 300' outdoor sand arena, a 72’ x 120’ indoor arena, two round pens (one large), numerous trail obstacles, large-scale permanent outdoor obstacles, an outdoor washrack, as well as parking, port-a-potty, arena bleachers, and picnic table areas.
Nearby activities abound from visiting rodeos and wineries to trail riding at sunset near waterfalls or hiking painted desert canyons. There are wildlife refuges to visit, hot springs to relax in, wilderness mountains to explore, scenic rivers to raft, railways to travel along--and North America’s largest concentration of breeding raptors to dazzle you.

Garden Valley River Access Campsite

The address to the house next door is 519 MiddleFork Rd, Garden Valley, ID 83622. That will get you to the property. The property is right after 519 it is a large open lot that leads down to the river. There is a black military vehicle parked on the very end close to the house.
So there are two sections 1st is a flat section where you have plenty of room to set up tents and RVs. It is right off the road, and any car can get to the site with ease. The 2nd section is more wooded and has access to the river. You are welcome to tent camp here it is just getting an RV down there and out can be a challenge I don't recommend it. Also, the bridge across the river is the neighbors and so is the property across the river. There are roughly 4 campsites on the property but can camp where you want really.
Large flat spot above the river that has access to the water. Half of the property is a flat spot for RV's and tents the 2nd half is more green, woody and has access to the river. There is a deeper spot in the river that is 3-4 feet deep and is perfect to lounge in during the hot parts of the summer. Please pack out what you pack in and keep the place nice for the next camper. Site One is an RV SITE with a fire pit, water and 20 amp power but is very nice for tent campers too. (The 20 amp power--is good for most air conditioners or gas furnaces.) Site Two is down in the trees on grass with it's own firepit and water. (A camper van or small pickup camper is ok on this site but no power. FREE FIREWOOD FOR BOTH SITES. Havenwood is 5.28 acres surrounded by farm land sitting at the top of a hill 50 miles west of Boise, Idaho. From our property you can view 15+ miles of the Snake River Valley. We are near the Oregon border and are just four miles from Interstate 84 and 3/4's mile from Highway 95. We are just 15 miles from the nearest winery and the beginning of the Snake River Valley wine country. Havenwood has a small forest of approximately 400 poplar trees in a park like setting with a couple acres of grass, fire pits, (with free firewood)--and quiet. Our property is host to many bird species including hawks, owls, quail, rabbits, and with occasional coyotes in the distance. We also host an Airbnb and are booked frequently with great guest reviews (five star rating). Near the freeway it is a wonderful place to take an overnite rest or more!
