Sugar Shack Woodland Retreat

Sugar Glamp Camp is nestled among tall oaks, pines and maples on the edge of a natural wetland. The Glamp Shack  is  10’ x 16’ new build. It features a 1/2 bath with composting toilet, fridge/freezer, outdoor shower with hot water, and stainless sink. Sleep in a lofted comfy queen bed. Includes propane grill, private deck, amazing views.

Kayaks available for daily rent. Lake 1 mile from Retreat.

The trees on our 2.7 acre lot offer shelter and homes for many woodland creatures

Indoor 1 bedroom, 1 bath plus kitchenette and private patio also available at Sugar Shack Woodland Retreat. Inquire. 

Docks near the boat launch at Larsons’ 5 minutes from the house. A great spot to paddle. 

Kayaks available for rent at the retreat. Host will transport to Chain of Lakes 1 mile from Retreat. Amazing kayaking and fishing. Coolers available for guest use.

210’ on a canal leading to Wixom Lake. Kayak to Pontoon alley and enjoy the sandy shoreline. Stop at the local bar on the water for a burger and play volleyball. Rustic campsite on a beautiful piece of property close to bait shops, ice cream parlors, party store/ Pizzeria, Eagles club, Moose Lodge and boat launches. Swimming area with a dock to park a boat at.Learn more about this land:This campsite used to be a waterfront lot on Wixom Lake. Unfortunatley we are without water in our lake and will remain this way for roughly 5 years. This site will still be available to rent as a rustic site. No water or electric hook up.

Grace's Blueberry Orchard Camping

Located just outside of Michigan's capital, Grace Blueberry Orchard provides a nice option for people looking for a country feel in the city. There are a variety of parks nearby as well as rivers, lakes, and trails that are easily accessible from this location. Grace Orchard is home to a family of fake farmers who share the property with a flock of chickens. In the summer months when the blueberries are in season, campers are welcome to enjoy the wild fruits throughout the property. Camp sites are available with good privacy. The many trees on the property allow for hammocking options as well.  There are multiple large areas for camping, all with fire pits.

This hipcamp is an entrepreneurial endeavor of our kids who are raising money for their education. They have a bee sanctuary which humanely extracts limited honey amounts each year. Our youngest also sells tea infusers. Sunday brunch (Mexican) or (Korean) Ramen may also be available for purchase.

Our country home is located on 7 acres near Lansing and East Lansing, Michigan.  

We are the proud parents of a small flock of chickens who roam the property throughout the day.  

The property is surrounded by beautiful large trees that provide shade to hang out, read, or eat a meal.

All 3 sites are deeper into the property near our 2 acre blueberry orchard

Camp Site #1 (S1) is the largest of our sites. It is centrally located on our property, has easy access to the water source, bathroom, and shower, and is the ideal site for larger groups or people with car tents or large cars and camper vans.

(Woods Loop Trail )Very private on a seldom traveled dirt road.Chairs and Table, Bucket for water, and Shovel for fire safety included .No power, No Water, No Toilet, No Trash.  Leave no Trace. Our Property is home to many wildlife,  ( I am just starting to establish this location as a Campsite.  The trails are in progress so explore with caution,  working on making the campsite even more enjoyable. History- "This is an old party spot from the 70s"Thanks for Checking out the Listing.  =)
