Stonybrook Cascade

1 site · RV12 acres · Wolfeboro, NH
Welcome to a serene, boondocking RV site tucked in to a rare, private pocket of old growth forest. Somehow this lot avoided the rampant logging of most of NH and is part of the 1% of old growth forest in New England. Surround yourself in the soothing sights and sounds of a cascading brook dappled with sunlight through the cover of towering trees. Set up camp and let the ancient forest gently takes over. There is only one site here. which rests in a level, shaded clearing, overlooking dozens of cascading mini waterfalls. It comfortably fits most boondocking capable RVs and offers a truly immersive stay in the woods. This is a leave no trace situation. Whether you're enjoying a morning coffee by the fire or streaming music under the stars, this is a space to both unwind and reconnect. As one guest put it: "Very nice spot overlooking a brook with an amazing fire location (calling it a pit doesn't begin to describe it)." – Mike R. When you’re ready to move, explore our private nature trail that winds along the brook and leads to a beaver damned wetland hidden in the forest. Many of the Hemlock trees you will pass are between 150 to 300 years old. This forest is moist and cool and is filled with by a highly diverse ecosystem, teaming with life, in its own dynamic balance. On hot days, cool off with a refreshing dip in the deep natural pool along the way. Though you’ll feel miles from anywhere—strong WiFi helps give peace of mind, whether you're working remotely, staying in touch with loved ones, or stargazing with a soundtrack. We (Brad and Christine, AKA forest nerds) live in an off-grid log cabin just up the hill and are happy to offer guidance or help if needed. We’re located about 25 minutes from downtown Wolfeboro, the oldest summer resort town in America. nestled along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire’s largest lake. The region is rich with outdoor adventure—hiking and mountain biking trails, paddling on rivers and lakes, and scenic views at every turn. The Cotton Valley Rail Trail is just a short drive away. Craving a seaside day trip? The coastlines of Maine and New Hampshire—with their rocky outcroppings, sandy beaches, and postcard-perfect towns like Portsmouth, York, Kennebunkport, and Ogunquit—are only about an hour away.

Camp Ebb and Flow

10 sites · RVs, Tents11 acres · Orford, NH
Camp Ebb and Flow is located on the western edge of the White Mountains, near the crossing of the Appalachian Trail and a short drive to VT. Three lakes nearby for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Hiking trails nearby. The camp offers RV sites with water, electricity, and sewer, an RV site with no hookups, and several tent sites. One of the tent sites has water and electricity and another has electricity with nearby water. There is an "outhouse" with a flush toilet and over six acres of mowed fields for activities and walking. There is also a lovely brook running through the property with many areas you can cool off in from the summer heat. This property has a lengthy history going back to colonial times. It’s been a farm, an apple orchard, and once had a sawmill. Please check the calendar for available dates. Check-in is no later than 9pm unless late arrival arrangements have been made prior to booking. Whenever possible, try to arrive before dark because there are no lights at most sites, which can make setup difficult. A note regarding electric vehicles (EV): If you have an electric vehicle and would like to tent camp, please select one of our full hookup RV sites. If you have the proper electric adapter for your vehicle, you can charge your vehicle at the 30A RV plug while tenting in the field near the RV site. We do not supply these adapters, and we cannot allow you to charge your vehicle unless you have reserved an RV site with full hookups. If you do not see an open site for the days you'd like to get away, please contact us. Sometimes we can make other arrangements, allowing you to stay.
