Enjoy convenient access to hiking trails right outside the front door of the cabins. Both cabins have heat and electric. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or a week-long retreat, we invite you to come and stay awhile.

5 Cottages on Paradox Lake, nestled on wooded grounds in a quiet cove, an ideal place for families or friends to enjoy vacation together. Large screened porches and decks, as well as a small play field and private sandy beach are perfect for groups. Superb swimming, hiking, cycling, fishing, boating, relaxing. Kayaks, canoes, rowboat provided at no charge. All kitchens are fully equipped, and there are many dining choices in Schoon Lake and Ticonderoga. The lake, with its islands, quiet coves, and the river-like inlet, offer many intriguing places to explore. Family owned since 1950, family oriented. The gradually sloping sand beach is safe and delightful for children. You may choose to have a campfire near the beach; SunderLand promotes an informal, friendly atmosphere. Sunderland family members are on site to answer questions and make sure you are comfortable. We are near historic Ticonderoga, and charming Schroon Lake, the Adirondack High Peaks area, Lake George, Lake Champlain, Middlebury and Burlington VT. The possibilities to visit Adirondack sites of interest are endless: river tubing on the Hudson River; visiting the Fort in Ticonderoga; seeing Olympic Village in Lake Placid, climbing any number of High Peaks, shopping or taking a sight-seeing cruise on Lake George, going horseback riding within 15 miles, dining, square dancing, shopping, or enjoying a craft brewery in Schroon Lake. Or have a relaxed time right at SunderLand sitting on a deck or porch, watching the loons or other birds, listening to the wind in the pines, reading a book, taking an afternoon nap. We are open from mid June until mid October. We do not allow motorized water craft. We allow pet dogs in Edgewood only. We are an inclusive family business where all people are welcome. Learn more about this land: This is a large agriculture working farm.. we have heifers and organic hay. The cabin is a big room, with a kitchen, eating tables and a wicker sofa and toilet. There is no insulation or heat. There will be mosquitos and occasional spiders. Therefore, it is open May till November. There is a blow up queen mattress but you need to bring sleeping bag, pillows or sheets. The Lemon Fair Sculpture Park and Whistle Pig brewery are close by . Middlebury College is 8 miles away.
