A small homestead on the bank of Abbotts Creek near where it feeds into High Rock Lake. Peace and solitude , but close to the amenities of town. Less than a five minute drive to the grocery store, and less than a fifteen minute drive to uptown Lexington. Public access for kayaks is less than half a mile away. And the view is unbelievable! We’re currently undergoing changes! Check out our new camping platform, and stay tuned for a new, upcoming bell tent site. We have a corn hole board and bags now available for use, as well as a few other yard games. Please let us know if you are interested in using them. I purchased a 1960's ranch home and 4 acres over 5 years ago. I turned the home into The Fab 4 House, furnishing it with authentic Mid-century Modern furniture and naming each bedroom for 1 of the Beatles. I rent it out and it is great for events. However, I needed 1 bedroom accommodations so I purchased 3- 8'x40' shipping containers and turned them into tiny homes. You can rent 1 or all 3. The courtyard in the middle features a Tiki Bar, Beach Scene, Putting Green. I want people to enjoy the in and outside together.

A Showerhouse with flush toilet is available for use. Conveniently located with easy access to I-40 on Exit 261. 10 minutes from Downtown Chapel Hill and Carborro. Durham is approximately 20 minutes and Raleigh is approximately 30 minutes. Saturday and Sunday from 10-3pm are volunteer days at the garden, you are welcome to join in or just enjoy your day. Please note that some space toward the front of the property have occasional road noise but the nights are mainly quiet. The property is 38 acres so you can also camp father into the wood trails but car access may be limited in those areas during rain.
