The cabin is really cute and is on a lovely spot right by the creek. It's a little more equipped than you might expect but still feels like you're unplugging and away from it all. We had some issues pop up on our end that created a hiccup with our travel plans but the host was very accommodating and understanding. We would love to return sometime

Cool spot. Like the layout and options of staying. Kiki the farm cat is very friendly Would gladly go back if passing through the area. Seems like a great spot to have a mini gathering with friends and family, the communal set up and amenities is very well thought out and planned.

The tiny house was lovely nice shower and toilet and a balcony to sit out on. And my dog was able to run around except I put him on the leash when we went to look at the farm and the animals. There was internet and tv and it was private and peaceful. If there had been availability I would’ve stayed an extra night. There was also a bed to sleep upstairs but I preferred to sleep downstairs. It was perfect.

such a sweet and beautiful little space! dana and jeremy were very friendly; provided lots of information pre-check-in and made things as smooth as possible. the baby goats are a super adorable plus! so nice relaxing by the fire as the sun sets, listening to the trickle of the creek as you fall asleep. stars are UNREAL, made the little jaunt to the outhouse oooooh sooooo worth it! the bed is also SO comfortable (disclaimer: had been sleeping on a sleeping pad in a sleeping bag for a 1.5 weeks, but was STOKED that their bed was the first one i slept in again). and i learned a lot about garlic! got some inspiration for future garlic farming adventures...?!?!? we will definitely be coming back! thank you so much for hosting us :)

GeerCrest Farm is a peaceful place to be and explore. We enjoyed the stay with our 3 year-old, who loved the ducks and sheep and exploring around. He wished we were staying another night, and I do to! We highly recommend it. Jim was helpful, communicative and kind. The cabins are what we expected and as the listing shows. The fire kept us very cozy in the April chill. Would definitely recommend! Close to so many fun things to see.

This yurt was amazing! Pretty, private spot amongst the trees and rolling vineyards. We loved all the thoughtful touches to make it feel like home and especially appreciated the hot plate for cooking and the fire pit and firewood. The bathroom was very clean and also private. Thank you!

This is an absolute beautiful setting. Zero noise or light pollution for sleeping. We stayed at the Lake lot. You can't really see the pond from where you park, but it's only steps away to enjoy with your morning coffee. We are planning a return trip in the fall when the vineyard is is full swing. What an adorable camping spot! This was the last night of our mini road trip down and back up the OR coast and it was the perfect end to the trip. It’s still pretty early into the season so we had a lot of privacy between the rows of trees and it was wonderful falling asleep to birds chirping and the sun peeking behind the leaves, especially after a week of storms on the coast. Since it was our last night, the wonderful HOT shower and flushing toilets was a God send and such a luxurious addition to car camping! This amenity alone makes this camp site top tier in my book! Shane also responds quickly to messages, questions, etc. and was very accommodating. We will definitely be back in the summer with wine loving family and friends!

I don’t typically write reviews, but Mike went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, including putting a canopy over our tent when we were away and it started raining. The campsites were nice and clean, and the barn has so many wonderful amenities, such as a hot shower. Thanks for making it a wonderful stay!

Weekend Trip to Lake Labish Farm

This site gave me all I needed as I start my camping exit from Oregon. I would continue to support these folks on the edge of the urban/rural divide being able to continue their horse and flower farm but know it is not in any way a wild destination or remote. The nearby mall with Panera and Hops and Drops were both wifi spots that were convenient by bike about a half mile away. Thanks to Daniel, I would say that 'the north side of Target parking lot' means the road behind the target parking lot. Thanks

Our farm is nestled at the end of Honey Grove Valley in the lush coastal mountains. The creek meanders through our seven acre property. The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing seven miles of hiking and mountain bike trails. Nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Fishing access to the Alsea River is located 1.5 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road. The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, one pull out couch, and an optional futon mattress and a fold out single bed. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. There is a small kitchen and attached bathhouse. The toilet is non-flush, composting. From the designated parking area there is a 200 foot walk along a gravel path to the cabin. Other features include a fire pit, sauna, and creek access. Internet is available in the cabin. There is a Level 2 vehicle charger available for guests. The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts. The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few spiders and other bugs, the occasional bunny, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and newts on the trails. Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards. Barn is off limits. Greenhouse and gardens are fine to explore as long as doors and gates are closed and dogs are kept out. Please refrain from harvesting produce and/or eggs unless accompanied or given permission from hosts directly.

From there, we started raising Black Angus in 2008 after spending four years cleaning up the fields to make it safe for animals. Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty. ꕥ The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. GeerCrest Farm

GeerCrest Farm was settled by the Geer family in 1848, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family. The farm features creeks, forests, pastures, orchards and gardens as well as the historic buildings. Currently we have four friendly sheep and a small flock of Mallard ducks to keep us company. The Pioneer Memorial Orchard features over 50 vairieties of pre 1850 apple trees. The Heritage Grove has ten fruit and nut trees that were recognizeds as a memorial the the early pioneers of the nursery trade by Oregon Heritage Tree program. The 20 acre property, offers three tent camp sites Including the Tree House site, as well as two forest cabins and a small forest bunkhouse (sleeps 6). Our peaceful, small farm offers a reflective immersion in nature and history among the occasional quacking of ducks and baaas of sheep. The scenery from all corners of the farm is incredible - a favorite is the westward view of the valley pasture at sunset -- called "Homer's View" after famous political cartoonist and Geer descendant, Homer Davenport. No matter which camping site you choose, the sounds of the creek, pond frogs, or conversing owls are sure to lull you to sleep. Feel free to roam the farm, but always leave gates as you find them, open or closed. Please say hello to our sheep and barn cats (they may say hello first). Explore the Heritage Grove of historic trees, the Memorial apple orchard and pear glade with varieties circa 1840s, indulge your senses in our medicinal herb garden, and chat with our farm family while they water the veggie gardens, if you so wish! Your experience will certainly be unique to the season. Your host Jim Toler represents the fifth generation of the farm and will happily share stories of the farm and it's history. GeerCrest Farm is truly an off-the-beaten-path gem.

There is a battery that provides lighting, and phone charging is available in the cabin. During the cooler months, there is a small wood stove for heating, and firewood is provided. The cabin sleeps 2, but there is room for a camper and/or tents. This campsite is meant to be very simple, so you should plan on bringing whatever you may need/want for camping.

We had a gathering of friends for a long weekend on this property (rented the cabin too) and had the best time. Feel free to message anytime with questions. We have two campsites on our property but, to give our guests a more private experience we allow one group at a time. Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. Feel free to fish off the dock, swim, Kayak, SUP or just enjoy the evening on the dock. Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the Ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City.
