Get back to nature, rain or shine, in a Pacific Northwest cabin.
Although a surprisingly large swathe of the Pacific Northwest is arid high desert land, the majority of this region is rainy and cool throughout much of the year, making a stay in a cabin an attractive alternative for those who want to sleep out in nature without the risk of getting rained out. Tons of cabins are for rent across Washington state parks, all with heat and electricity. Vacation rentals are also available at half a dozen state parks and private areas around Seattle, many with amenities such as free wifi, hot tubs, fire pits, and full kitchens. Further south in Oregon, you'll find a hodgepodge of state park-owned cabins, many of which are pet-friendly and near hot spots like Portland and Bend. Cabins are also available for rent in national forests across the Pacific Northwest through the US Forest Service, or you can opt for one of the many privately owned cabins and chalets for rent throughout the region.
