Pucker Up Berry Farm is located at the bottom of Becky Mountain within minutes to Dupont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, and downtown Brevard.
This property was uninhabited for over 75 years until recently purchased in September 2017. Since taking ownership, we have established a small farm and berry orchard to supply customers with high antioxidant fruits, vegetables, and berries. Hipcampers will enjoy the morning and evening chatter of birds, gorgeous mountain sunsets, and easy access to local forests, trails, and restaurants.

Campers can expect a mountainside view, landscaped gardens, a berry orchard, farm art, and a gallery of bird sounds and sightings throughout your stay.
Enjoy beautiful sunset views from above the orchard. The space feels friendly and welcoming!
Your campsite includes numerous tent spots, a large fire pit, four wooden adirondack chairs, four plastic adirondack chairs, a 16x16 covered kitchen space with electricity, a mini fridge, cooking supplies, a picnic table, an outhouse, an outdoor shower, and a large space for outdoor games. A chicken pen and a few trees line the upper part of the site. The flower and vegetable gardens are above the campsite, and the 150' x 200' orchard extends up into the woods/mountainside. Guests are encouraged explore the orchard, gardens, and orchard perimeter throughout their stay.
It is important for our guests to get an experience. We encourage you to pick a flower and put it in your hair. Or, maybe you want to cut a whole vase full of bright showy flowers and learn the components of a complete arrangement ($25/ in season guided tour). You should definitely harvest a head (or two!) of lettuce for a large salad at the picnic table. Ever caught a chicken? We want you to ask for the experience you desire. When you get here and see what berries or vegetables are in season, we will help you create a Pucker Up Berry Farm tent camping experience. The surrounding woods/mountainside are open for exploration or hiking. Cell phone service/reception are very good. Additional firewood is available for $7/bundle. Kombucha ($6/bottle) and farm fresh eggs ($6/dozen) are available upon request. Seasonal produce prices and availability

My property consists of a ridge running east to west with the access road running along the south border. the land slopes up to the ridge for about 300 feet, and then down to the river for about 800 feet. The south side of the ridge has a small pond close to the road. The rest is pasture, and an orchard and small vineyard. The north side of the ridge is old growth timber, and shady and cool. The two cabins are along the river. One is perched on a ridge over looking the river and the other is right on the river. The swimming hole is 30 feet from the lower cabin. There is room for a couple campsites along the river also. The south side of the ridge was a cotton farm decades ago, but was covered in timber when I bought it 12 years ago. The north side has been in timber for the known history of the property.
