I loved staying at tent site B. It was easy to find, had a raised mulch pad for the tent, a couple of chairs, firepit, and grill. It was a short walk to the bathrooms/showers along a mulch path. Will definitely stay again when we come back to explore more.

Everything about this site was wonderful, from the hospitable host to the peaceful site. Karen was so communicative and helpful to us throughout our stay. Site 6 was secluded and private, without feeling isolated, and really beautiful. The walk from the site to my car was 2-3 minutes, and a hot shower at the end of the day was the icing on the cake. Could not recommend more!

Spot was convenient from Guadalupe River State Park. Host was easy to communicate with and the place was easy to find. The spot was nice and private.

Very well maintained and friendly atmosphere. The communal area came in clutch. Coffee in the morning gives you a brief chance to be social with other campers. The primitive sites are very secluded with the cedar trees surrounding them. Site H is by far the best. Your back is to to a fence and there is a trail connecting to the next site over for a bigger group. Road to the sites is a little rough but it adds to the experience. Overall it’s a great place and definitely worth a return visit.

Such a wonderful accommodating camping experience! We set up tents and had a perfect walking distance from bathrooms and the community “armadillo shack” that was stocked with cooking tools, gas, charcoal and even freshly made coffee! Loved exploring the property and was an easy/ quick drive to the park. We will definitely go again.

The Island site was fantastic for us. Camp host is incredibly kind and helpful. Our only concern pre-trip was lack of potable water, but this did not end up being an issue for us. Plenty of opportunities for water nearby and in Big Bend. Best part was location in ravine provided extra shade near sunrise and sunset. Shade from hill started about 6:30 for us, with beautiful views towards Big Bend. We also had 1 day of wind, but was not dusty at camp. All in all this site worked out perfectly for us.

This was our first camping trip with 2 kids (age 5 and 2) and I couldn’t recommend this place more. Having a tend set up and ready made our trip focusing on enjoying nature with the littles so easy. Plenty of room inside for a couple sleeping pads so we could all bunk down together. There were several paths that wound through the land which was just enough to make it feel huge for my kids but without them getting too exhausted. The outhouse was also so clean and nice my son said he wished we had one at our house. Thanks for the fantastic memories!

We are conveniently located in Blanco, Texas less that 50 miles from either San Antonio or Austin and in the heart of the Texas wine country. Our campsites are next to a spring feed tributary creek which flows year around feeding into the Blanco River just a few miles away or hillside with amazing views of the river valley. We have numerous old growth hardwood trees including Live Oaks, Spanish oaks, Elm, Escarpment Cherry, Black walnut, and Ashe Juniper (cedar) one of which has the largest circumference in Texas. We have a wide selection of native and migratory wildlife that calls this place home including white tail deer, wild turkeys, foxes, bobcats, jack rabbits, road runners, seasonal songbirds and butterflies. We are just minutes away from Blanco State Park and a short drive to Pedernales Falls or Guadalupe River State Park.

We're situated just outside Trenton on 55 acres of gently sloping terrain featuring a wide creek and expansive grounds beyond the Big Oak, perfect for exploration. Enjoy stunning sunsets, a clear view of the night sky, the tranquil sounds of the creek, and occasional visits from deer, all contributing to a peaceful retreat. Our property is evolving as we create manicured groves and open pastures for both our farm animals and guests. During rainy spells, expect some mud and occasional sightings of heavy equipment or tractors. Our livestock rotate between our two properties, so they may not always be here at The PARK at Brushy Creek. If you don't see them here, you're welcome to visit our other property across the road with the big green gate. Currently, there is no electricity or Wi-Fi on the property. Lighting is provided by solar power or batteries. Tent sites have access to a water spigot, and there's a Port-o-let nearby. This is rural country living; our neighbors' livestock and dogs may make sounds like bleating, barking, oinking, mooing, neighing, squealing, whinnying, braying, or whining at any time of day or night. We are conveniently located one hour north of Dallas Fort Worth, just 30 minutes from McKinney, Sherman, or Greenville, and within 10 miles of Leonard, Whitewright, and Bonham. Trenton is only five miles away. Several lakes are nearby including Lake Bonham, Lake Texoma, and the new Bois' d Arc Lake. Located just 7 miles from the entrance to Big Bend National Park, and 10 miles from the visitors' center at Big Bend Ranch State Park, it is a perfect base from which to explore all the hiking, boating, and scenic beauty that West Texas is known for. The arts, history, and entertainment of Terlingua Ghost Town are less than 2 miles away. Like most ruins in the Ghost Town, my stone house was built in the early 1900s to house a miner’s family from the nearby Rainbow Mine. I bought the property in 1986 and began restoring and rebuilding. In 2019 I retired here from NYC and began exploring possibilities for sustainable tourism. West Texas is one of the best places in the United States to view the Milky Way (both Big Bend parks are certified as International Dark Sky parks). We use shielded LED lighting around buildings and pathways to cut down on light pollution and optimize stargazing opportunities for our astrotourists. And we are applying for dark sky certification from the Texan By Nature program. Bear in mind that this is the desert, in all its rugged glory. There are critters, rocks, plants with thorns, slippery slopes, sink holes, rusted artifacts and broken glass from decades long past. Bring sturdy shoes and a flashlight, and stay on the paths! We may eventually add a few more sites and expand our amenities, but our intention is always to provide remote, low-density accommodation for folks who are respectful of the land.

Two tents have one queen bed and two have two queen beds. We provide two air mattresses to sleep total 16!! There are AC units in each of the tents to keep cool at night. Please note that the hot tub is only included if all 4 tents are booked. Our common areas include 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 extra large sink area connected to the bathrooms, 2 grills and 4 large picnic tables, a bar and coffee station, a fire pit, hammocks and a rope swing. This space is perfect for any family celebration, reunion, birthday party, ect! It is tucked away at the bottom of the property so you get the space to yourself. IMPORTANT! There is an additional $25/yurt if you want to use the hot tub during your stay. Guest access When you arrive at our house you will park in our circle driveway and walk through the double green gates down the hill to the glampsite. (To the left past the house) The road is slippery/steep so please use the steps. Backpack recommended for easier up and down! You can roll a cooler down the (steep) road! Other things to note Each of the four bell tents are equipped with an AC unit, beds, heater, pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, electrical outlets, twinkle lights, and a lantern. Light switch to main Edison lights are located on the side table near hot tub outlets.
