RV camping near El Paso guide

Overview

At the far frontier of western Texas, El Paso's rugged mountain landscapes, Chihuahuan desert sunsets, and cluster of state and national parks provide a dramatic backdrop for an RV camping adventure. Ready to start exploring? First stop is the Franklin Mountains State Park, with more than 100 miles of hiking, biking, and rock climbing trails and five rustic RV sites right in the heart of El Paso. The red rock cliffs of nearby Hueco Tanks State Park provide ample terrain for hiking, rock climbing, and bouldering, and there’s decent RV camping here and at Guadalupe Mountains National Park. Or, head to New Mexico to discover Pancho Villa State Park and White Sands National Park. Big rig campers might prefer the pull-through campsites at one of El Paso’s RV parks or RV resorts—full hookups and free wifi come as standard, while some even have a swimming pool, basketball court, and dog park.
