The yurt was super cozy and had everything you needed! Angela was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The location was perfect for exploring the region as it was so close to many wonderful trails and sites. I would definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Fort Llatikcuf

The yurt was a great place to camp when we went to Jay Peak for the weekend. It is about a 7 minute drive from the resort, and only a few minutes from the Jay Village Store where you can get anything you forgot for camping. The wood stove works REALLY well to heat the place up in a jiffy so it's nice and warm even on a cold winter night. We were also able to heat up food on the stove, which was convenient. There was about 6-8 inches of snow on the driveway, so it might be hard with a low clearance car as the entrance was unplowed. It was a little unclear where to park because of the snow and the yurt being right past a house. We just didn't park in front of the garage and that seemed fine. The yurt currently has a twin mattress on a frame (not the futon in listing photo) so prepare to get cozy if you go as a couple or bring a camp pad. The sound of the brook at night was amazing, nice little nook of nature feel. We would definitely love to stay here again, especially in the summer when we can spend time outside by the brook.

The stay at the yurt was a lovely experience in the beautiful greenmountains! Cold outside but the stove and wood provided kept us warm all night!

We absolutely loved staying in the yurt! Sarah was so kind, showed us how to work the woodstove, and made sure we had everything we needed. It was such a peaceful getaway with a group of friends. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use (and super cute with the lights at night!). Highly recommend a stay here!

Weekend Trip to Mountain View Gardens & Apiary

We had a great stay in the yurt, very cute and cozy! The wood-burning stove kept us very warm and it was great to have kindling and logs available to us. Everything we could’ve needed really was there for us. We would definitely stay again sometime!

The location was great, close to the Lincoln Gap, Camels Hump, Lawson's Finest beer and Waterbury. A nice fire ring setup and covered outdoor kitchen was a plus. Also, the cost was very reasonable!

I loved camping here for the night everything was so clean and nicely put together! We came later in the evening, Laura was really helpful giving us some extra directions we needed to navigate to the yurt in the dark. The property itself was beautiful and I loved how everything was set up.

Amazing stay in Julias cozy yurt! Beds were very comfortable and woodburning stove helped us warm up and created cozy vibes! Amazing stars and great camp stove for cooking. Cannot recommend enough!

Weekend Trip to Private 4 Season Yurt Close to Town

My husband and I spent our 1 year anniversary here and the space just made our experience all the more special! Sharon’s husband (Mark, we believe?) saw us as we parked our car and gave us a tour, making sure all of our questions were answered and that we were comfortable w/ using the amenities. The yurt was phenomenal - rustic but comfortable, very spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows with plenty of blankets on the side. The wood stove was easy to use and we were welcome to get more wood in the back. Outhouse was close by. Downtown was <10min drive away - we found our new favorite bakery, Bohemian Bakery! Our hosts gave us plenty of helpful suggestions for our stay. We hope to come back in the summer!

The property is composed of wetlands, agricultural meadows, old apple trees, and hardwood forest with 700 feet of elevation. All structures on the property are solar-powered and a rainwater system feeds the sink in the outdoor kitchen. There are a handful of individual camp sites available in the spring, summer and fall, as well as a communal outdoor kitchen with lighting, a fire pit, a stone pizza oven and a sitting/yoga deck. We also offer more of a "glamping" experience in our 14 ft yurt, which comfortably sleeps 2-3 people with wood stove heat and a solar battery for lighting. We love sharing this space with others and offering a rustic forest getaway.

Secluded Stream side Yurt. Currently has a twin bed and futon. Sleeps 3 at most, it’s only a 14ft yurt. A couple miles from Jay Peak ski hill is this little abode I erected in 2022. If you’re looking for the basics without all the accoutrements, a stay at Fort Llatikcuf might be your jam. There’s a water source (a clean and clear stream) as well as potable water in big blue 10 gallon jugs. A wood stove for heat (wood is on you, but feel free to use what’s there, usually a night or two’s worth). There is a compost toilet for your sanitary needs. You will be secluded, minus the grouse and other natural friends (which occasionally visit). It’s a great spot at a great price. Please respect the land, stream and the ethic of the place. It’s quite special.

We want to provide an affordable and special experience and have the below guidelines:** 1. Bring your own Queen sheets. A duvet is provided 2. Bring your own towels 3. If you leave dirty dishes, a mess, or don't give the place a quick vacuum, you'll be charged a $30 cleaning fee. Come live the simple life in Vermont at Wild Earth Farm. But with a hot shower and a memory foam mattress. Our 14 foot yurt is a tiny oasis from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Your door looks out over the edge of one of our pastures where you might see our organic cow herd or Icelandic sheep flock grazing. Soak in the sunset from the fire pit and watch the sky come alive with stars. The Wild Earth Yurt is 14 feet in diameter and offers a queen sized memory foam mattress, two cozy chairs, and a bench to place your things. There is one spare outlet for charging electronics. Location: 1. Two miles of Rt 89 2. 9 mins to Randolph with restaurants, cafes, and shops 3. 30 min to Montpelier, 1 hour to Burlington, 45 min to Woodstock 4. 23 min to our favorite restaurant of all time, Worthy Burger! Things to Do in the Area: 1. Our town of Randolph (9 min away) is a hidden gem with cute shops, cafes, and restaurants. Catch a movie at our adorable one-room movie theater. Real butter on the popcorn! 2. Take a class at White River Art Center 3. Get a maple creemee at Silloway Maple (1 mile away!) 4. Jump on the trail system at the back of our farm for a nice hike, snowshoe, or ski 5. Head to Montpelier for the best thai food in the world, or our favorite sourdough pizza. The heating is electric and keeps the yurt quite warm down to about 10 degrees outside. We recommend bringing a nice wool sweater if you run on the cold side. The kitchen/bath house, about 40 steps from the yurt features a composting toilet, shower, sink, coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. BYO towels for the shower. The view from the fire pit is one of our very favorites on the farm. This is a fantastic place to use as base camp for adventures or to just come and fully relax for a few days. Please Note: Due to the nature of our farm and the animals working on it, we are not able to host any animals including service animals. This is to keep our animals (and yours!) safe and happy. Thank you for understanding! Guest access Guests have full access to the yurt. It is a couple hundred feet away from the back of the farm house which is also rented out on Airbnb. The door to the yurt of located on the opposite side of the house so there is plenty of privacy. 45 minute farm tour available for $60. Please Note: Due to the nature of our farm and the animals working on it, we are not able to host any animals including service animals. This is to keep our animals safe and happy. The land has over a half a mile of river frontage and several streams, a beautiful varied forest, rambling topography, and plenty of wildlife. Many lessons in tracking may be found as whitetails, moose, black bear, fishers, bobcats, porcupine, coyotes, foxes, mink, ermine, snowshoe hare, wild turkey, and ruffled grouse, are seen and tracked. Often times we are also lucky enough to catch a hawk circling the pasture and to hear the barred owls calls in the darkness of night. The diversity of plants, trees, and animals make this an ideal place to study and grow, or simply hang out in and experience.
