The location was great, close to the Lincoln Gap, Camels Hump, Lawson's Finest beer and Waterbury. A nice fire ring setup and covered outdoor kitchen was a plus. Also, the cost was very reasonable!

I loved camping here for the night everything was so clean and nicely put together! We came later in the evening, Laura was really helpful giving us some extra directions we needed to navigate to the yurt in the dark. The property itself was beautiful and I loved how everything was set up.

Weekend Trip to Burke Line Farm

What a special place! We had the best time. The hosts were perfect in that they were very responsive to my many questions in advance, but didn't bother us at all when we arrived. I had no doubt that if we needed them they would have responded immediately. The cabin was cute, cozy, and the amenities were wonderful. This is a great place to camp!

Excellent Place. It was beautiful and private and had everything we could have asked for. Beautiful views too. Hiway 87 is close so you can hear it sometimes but you cannot see it. It was just a 'home run' I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The Orchard House at Peck Farm Orchard is the building where we serve our customers during our orchard season September through October. The property is located on a dirt road in rural Vermont and is surrounded by conserved land in current farm use. Please note: This property has been repurposed for the very special event of the full eclipse April 8th, 2024. Travel and weather in Vermont in April can be like summer, like winter, something in between and all of it in one day. Please pack and plan accordingly. Spring(March-May) travel can be very muddy. The building is made of rough cut wood from our farm property and features a cook stove, power, refrigerator and access to an outdoor fire circle. The floor is concrete so an air mattress or better yet a cot is recommended. Is you plan on using the wood cook stove please let us know. While the cookstove can provide some heat and the ability to cook it does not heat the whole building very well. There are outlets for use in the building. There is one string of plug in lights, no other lighting is installed. A traditional outhouse is located just 50 yards from the Orchard House. Drinkable well water is available upon request with 24 hours notice. 2 miles from the Orchard House is a small cooperative country store with food supplies. The Peck Farm Orchard is located on a beautiful 4 mile loop frequently used by runners and walkers. There is easy access to local hiking trails and snowmobile/skiing trails. The orchard and parking area is located on 18 acres with access to trails spanning more than a thousand acres.

Learn more about this land:Site One is a lovely secluded site near our small pond. it's nestled in a Tamarack Grove, and you can listen to the peepers, frogs and crickets as they lull you to sleep under a deep night sky that is not polluted by light. There is a small fire pit for ambiance, cooking, or to keep the bugs at bay. The tent sites are level. Site Two is in a high and level section of the hay field. It is inclosed on three sides with maple trees, apple trees and other varieties of trees and shrubs such as wild black raspberry, and lilac bushes. This site has its own driveway and has room for multiple tents. This site also features a small fire pit. We are a working Saffron farm, as well as poultry keepers. Please do keep this mind while booking. While both sites are quite secluded, we are home and working most of the time which does mean you may see us or the animals and other farm equipment. The Wells River and Newbury area has much to offer the outdoors type. We are centrally located in Vermont providing easy access to most attractions in Vermont as well as the White Mountains of NH. The Argentinean Constancia Gomez and Ex Sugarbush executive chef Kevin Ritchie innovate everyday with new recipes coming up with the best fresh goat cheese flavors in town. We are artisan cheese producers. We are farming 48 acres mostly wooded both sides of Lincoln Brook, on Lincoln Gap rd. We are reclaiming some meadows. We have 26 goats, 20 chickens. Milking now 10 mothers by hand, making cheese in small batches fresh, every day. We make 7 types of cheeses:Chevre, mozzarella, feta, queso blanco, apple wood smoked queso blanco, type of Manchego, and a ripened cheese.Our goal is to preserve and protect the land while using organic principles to produce products for local consumption and enjoyment. Our Chèvre is a fresh, smooth creamy goats spread, with a little bit of tang with hints of berry bushes and clover. Great for appetizers, to mix with herbs, spread on toast with butter, to add to scramble eggs and much more!Our queso blanco is spanish for white cheese, latin america specialty. This cheese is a firm cheese, with a fresh mildly sweet flavor. Great for cooking! Does not melt while fried or grilled! Take on the flavor of the food and spices in a recipe!Our Apple wood smoked queso blanco is spanish for white cheese and is marinated in olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt. Great for cooking, for appetizers and for salads.Our Feta is strongly flavored salted cheese, originated in Greece. Often crumbled in little pieces on salads or tacos.Our goat Mozzarella is a firm style cheese with with a slight tang.
