Rainier National Park.
A few miles west of the Nisqually Entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park and less than two hours south of Seattle, the small community of Ashford subsists largely on catering to tourists heading out for hiking and mountain climbing adventures in the park. As such, there are all sorts of privately owned cabin rentals in and around Ashford that range from rustic standalone log cabins surrounded by forest to luxurious vacation homes and retreats within walking distance of the town center. Many Ashford cabins come with homey amenities such as kitchens, TVs, multiple bedrooms, and wifi, while others are more suited to a more rustic vacation or a digital detox. Note that many cabins in the area require a minimum 2-night stay, at least on weekends.
