1 night at Skagit River RV and Camping

Great spot to camp near North Cascades National Park. We were particularly pleased with the cleanliness of the site, especially the bathrooms! Toilets and showers were very clean and the bathrooms looked nicely spruced up. Very friendly hosts as well. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

2 nights at North Eagle Haven @ Mount Baker

The place and views were amazing. Very nice and calm off a road with barely any traffic and the river across it. The parking area was leveled and easy to park, Power and water hook ups. We had our camper van and didn't get to use the small cabin bit it was so cozy in there. Probably my favorite was the sauna wood cabin with burning fire. Sooo relaxing. Great hiking areas just off the property and withing a 10 minute drive. As for our host- Heather has got to be one of the coolest people and most active people we've ever met. Very helpful and friendly, tentative to your needs. Nice little touches to boost your experience you'll get to enjoy when staying there. Again, Thank you Heather!!!

Such a lovely peaceful place to stop. Fantastic view of Mt. Baker and horses. We parked and relaxed. Fresh eggs, cute bathroom, great firepits and a fantastic platform tent. Recommend!!!

5 nights at West Beach Resort

It’s a lovely little resort, especially if you stay in one of the cabins. I was in an RV spot, which are pretty close together. There was hardly anyone there though, so the size of the sites wasn’t an issue. I was in a tiny teardrop and the advertised shower house was one of the reasons I picked this location. Unfortunately, it’s closed during the winter. That would have been good to know beforehand. I’d recommend either booking directly or messaging to make sure the description on Hipcamp matches the reality.

End of the road. Start of an epic camping weekend. River to the side, Cascade foothill surround. Each site has river access except for lookers left which is not accessible due to the steep grade. All the siteshave nice sand for kids to play in. Close to the north cascades. Minutes from live music, bars and quality mexican restaurant. Rails to trail for bikes and walking. Tward the end of july the river starts to recede opening up more possibilities of having interaction with the river. That being said its crucial you keep an eye out on your kids. We had a guy out here who almost killed his kids multiple times underestimating the current. Watch out!!Kinda going for the peaceful, listen to the river and birds, vibe. Would rather there be no music and if there is then super low and off by 7. Sauna available after 3pm

This makes North cascades national park and baker lake easy to get to. 2 minutes from the rails to trails. 5 minutes from prime, skagit river beaches. The property sits up on a elevated, flat plateau lending views of the cascade foothills and the the cascades themselves. Great star gazing. State forest land borders the property which makes endless wilderness for bikes and hikes. This includes xcountry single track and a black diamond downhill trail. Shallow, freezing cold creek that comes from a spring 10 minute walk from the campsites. Dogs love it. Unfortunately, no fires. Unprecedented fire threat this year. Front area, in front of the house is now off limits as there are new tenants living in the house. Campsites are in the back with privacy and room to roam. Elevated shared area in the back to catch all the views. This is a big open property with mountain views. Great star gazing. The surrounding mountains turn epic in the evenings. The storm was amazing to watch tucked into our side of the property. Close to parks, hikes and Bellingham. For people with small children there is a playground just a few houses away. Bring boots or old shoes for low tide. This is by far one of the best places, and hosts, we have had while hip camping. We will be back often this fall and winter."
