Hood Canal Groovy Yurt

Mostly private three acres of open flat field. Cedar and pine trees, some garden, flowerbeds. Bats at dusk. Lots of stars at night. Lots of birds during summer. It's between Port Gamble Heritage Park and the Hood Canal bridge,   just off of Highway 3.

Malaney Creek Farm

MCF is situated 12 minutes NE of Shelton Washington with secluded wetlands nested against the SW shores of Spencer Lake. Covering over 124 acres MCF offers terrain from grassy fields to heavily wooded forests and an abundance of sanctuary wetlands.  Being surrounded mostly by private timberlands expands the remote feeling this location has to offer. More than 3 miles of  maintained trails deliver single track/ pedestrian/equine pathways to wider trails joined by a main trunk trail large enough for vehicles.
Malaney Creek meanders through a cool grassy tree lined meadow where a 40 year old wooden bridge serving the main driveway can be viewed. 
Established in 1977 as a resident farm, MCF was once rich with an old growth ceder forest feeding a cedar mill and railroad built by early settlers of Mason County. Remnants of the old growth giants still remain.


Exploring the Wetlands trail was the best part of our entire trip here!

South Orchard Berry Camp

This 5 acre homestead was originally homesteaded in the 1890s.   It is still an active farm with goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, guardian livestock dogs, cats and one Chihuahua.  There is also several permaculture/orchard areas, berry patches and a large garden.  We do offer 1 hour agritourism activities like farm tours, baby "Goat Yoga" and "Baby Goat Playtime" by reservation via the website.  

The area campers use is outside the barn yard, in the South orchard.  Near the county road and parking lot.  We're less than 30 minutes from the Kingston or Bainbridge Island ferry.  5 minutes from downtown Poulsbo, less than that from Central Market (the best grocery ever!). 

At this time, I do not have space for car camping or drive in campers, it is a walk in only site.  Also, we are under burn ban, so no fires. 

** Please note ** this is an active farm.  There are roosters and dogs, they are not close to you, but you can hear them depending on where they might be.  And, they are not mindful of the time.   We are also one property away from Bond Rd, so there can be road noise.

Tahuya Adventure Resort

3 sisters and our brother in law decided we wanted to make a place where people can enjoy the Northwest that we grew up in.  It doesn't matter if you bring your own tent, drive an rv, or rent the luxury tent, the great outdoors is there for all to enjoy!

We have great places to pitch your own tent and enjoy the rustic pleasures just being outdoors. The sites are rustic and access to trails are nearby. We also have a wonderful covered outdoor kitchen with propane grill, microwave, and coffee pot. A safe place to gather with family.

Bring your RV and park and have a large site to yourself. You have room to spread out your awning without hitting the next vehicle. Each site has its own picnic table and fire ring. Also if you are in the mood you have a covered kitchen to meet and mingle with other guests. We also have a big screen tv in the kitchen so you don't miss the Seahawks games.

Drive in and enjoy a lovely view of unspoiled woods from the deck of your canvas tent. Enter the door into a spacious area with a king or queen
 size bed and small kitchen area. Each tent has its own heat source for your comfort. Each tent has its
table right outside on the deck but it you are feeling social come enjoy our outdoor kitchen.  We are open year round and It is different every season

Our guests love staying here "This site has absolutely everything you need. You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. You NEED to check this place out."

Courter Country Farm is located on 20 private acres. You will love the adorable small farm animals, fresh eggs and produce. Your site is on Barker Creek and  ideal for someone wanting to relax, a family getaway or for a little country romance.  Don’t forget the s’mores fixings. Firewood available for purchase when no burn ban in place. We are also open to the public from 10am - 3pm on Friday.
