The lake is 220 acres known to Anglers near and far. Plenty of room for the sunseekers wanting to play in the water on paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, and water skiing. An 18-hole Golf Course resides at the North end of the lake and white water rafting just a few miles down the hill on the Methow River. We will offer guided horseback rides by the hour on site for the season 2024. Must book in advance. Free Wifi available near the office only.

If you like nature, there are many features for you. From hiking to biking, off road access, hunting, or wildlife viewing, Derby Canyon offers it all. Enjoy a day in Leavenworth, the Wenatchee River, mountain bike trail, or a hike in the mountains.
Though most of the area does not receive cell phone service (I have Verizon) we do get service at this site. Located about 5 miles off the county road (High ground clearance and 4x4 vehicles recommended for this forest service road leading to the campsite), cell service will fall off for the first 4 miles, however most people will have service at the site itself. Please PRINT or DOWNLOAD the directions I will email you for OFFLINE use!
For now we are offering this site as a private escape campsite to enjoy the depths of nature in a serene setting. Wood fires are not allowed but we do have a propane firepit available for use free of charge - bring your own propane!

Choose your perfect spot from 8 different sites (power and water) in the campground. Each site used is $60 (Memorial Day until Labor Day). No need to choose site beforehand, just book and you can choose your site once you arrive as your party will be the only ones there to enjoy the great outdoors! After Memorial Day, there is a porta potty on site. There is a large firepit and plenty of wood for fires (when there isn't a fire ban). There are trails all over for walking or there are trailheads just a short drive away if you want to hike. The river is a 30 second-1minute walk from the campsite. Perfect area to pitch a hammock and enjoy the sounds of nature. The campground is 5 miles away from the Mazama Store which sells amazing food (sandwiches, pastries, cookies, and the famous Sea Salt Baguettes). There is also a portable basketball hoop and a tether ball pole. Group rates available. SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER and MAY campers: There is no water and power, however you are still welcomed to camp at a reduced rate.

Overview
In a relatively untouched section of eastern Washington's Okanogan County, where the Columbia River swells to form Lake Pateros, the small city of Brewster makes an excellent base for campers wanting easy access to the endless opportunities for outdoor recreation that this part of the state offers. It's next to Indian Dan State Wildlife Recreation Area and right across the water from the Bridgeport Bar State Wildlife Recreation Area, while Bridgeport State Park is just a short drive away. The Brewster area is a hit among RV campers, with plenty of smaller RV parks and single-vehicle private sites within a short drive of the town center, while those looking to pitch a tent only need to head west toward Pateros to find a wide range of option including many secluded spots on private land.
