Just minutes away, you'll discover state parks, the Hood Canal, and refreshing freshwater lakes where you can indulge in activities such as fishing, kayaking, and swimming in the surprisingly warm waters. We offer a range of outdoor games including axe and knife throwing, bocce ball, corn hole, laser tag, and more. Additionally, we have a dedicated kids' play area where young ones can enjoy endless fun throughout the day. Immerse yourself in the heart of our vibrant community by getting involved in one or more of our ongoing projects and workshops. Relish in the abundance of delights that await you at Elfendahl Forest, including our flourishing vegetable gardens, inviting outdoor kitchen, eco-friendly composting toilet, refreshing shower, and a communal fire pit perfect for cozy evenings. During the summer months, we often host movie nights at our outdoor theater, offering a unique and captivating experience. Our one-of-a-kind kitchen is equipped with a propane stove/oven and comes complete with dishes and utensils for your convenience. Should you desire fresh vegetables and herbs, our gardens are a bountiful source, and we gladly share their harvest upon request. Indulge in the privacy and comfort of our outdoor shower, featuring on-demand hot water that can be adjusted to your liking. Our main composting toilet, affectionately known as "Louie the first," operates similarly to a porta potty but with the use of sawdust instead of harsh blue chemicals. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and comfort, all while conserving hundreds of gallons of water each week. For those renting our Lotus tent or the Magical bus you will enjoy the convenience of your own private composting toilet, as well as access to drinking water, a well-equipped kitchenette with spices and cooking oils, hammocks, and more. As we embark on our exciting journey with Hipcamp and other online platforms, your satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. Our woods are home to Grandma Big Leaf Maple that holds you as you swing from her branch and feel the joy of letting go rush over you. With the freedom of no cell service, you can spend a quiet moment to think under the cedars at our meditation rock. We offer a communal fire pit, kitchen & bathroom area in our meadow for refreshing and recharging while meeting magical new souls sharing in the euphoria of nature in an alcohol and tobacco free space. Ravens Ridge is a short walk from Dabob Bay and the Tarboo Wildlife Preserve and a short drive from Quilcene, WA, the Pearl of the Peninsula, known for its oysters and proximity to some of the best hiking and other outdoor recreation on the Olympic Peninsula. This location provides easy access to trailheads in the Olympic National Forest, Mt Walker Viewpoint, and kayaking in the most pristine and protected inlets of the Salish Sea. Whether you are looking to eat fresh seafood or harvest your own, you will find all your heart desires: wild mushrooms in the fall, fresh nettles in the Spring, whale and seal watching! PLEASE NOTE: We are Queer! We welcome all LGBTQIA+ folks and allies. We believe in Magic and the power of Science to prove it. We are located on Twana/Skokomish, Chimakum, and Jamestown S'Klallam land. We take down the bell tents in late October and put them back up sometime in April, depending on the weather. The Glendale Farm

At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested uplands. The farm continues to provide food, fiber, and habitat for future generations. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust worked with Jefferson County and Jefferson LandWorks Collaborative partners to purchase the easement with state Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program Farmland Preservation grant funds, Jefferson County Conservation Futures funds, and community funds. Please understand that the farm is undergoing constant improvements & various projects may be underway during your visit. We try to keep it tidy but realistically that just isn't always possible.
