Once you have fully settled in - less than a min walk away there is access to a river (river showers welcome) and almost as close by you'll find the beach - surf, swim or just sit with some great views! There is a laundromat, small convenient store and gas station only 10 min away. 30 min drive in to Port Angeles where you'll find a great small town with great food, antique stores and shops. Find great breakfast at Oak Table cafe in Sequim and Chestnut Cottage Restaurant in Port Angeles are just of the great options available. Bike trails just short drives away. This beautiful land is a magical, cultivated ecosystem, a patchwork quilt of diverse gardens, flowing fields, and sacred woodlands all stitched together with the threads of creeks and paths. This is a place for connection, education, and sanctuary. There are many ways to connect and explore this land; wander through the rose, herb, and vegetable gardens, sit and meditate in the Weavers Grove, pick herbs and greens to add to your evening meal, or sit with your knitting and watch the sheep. Whether you come to escape or to connect, you will find it here. NOTE: This is a working farm we have animals, dirt, sticks, bugs, and poop, and lots of opportunities to "connect" with Nature. All of our amenities are shared spaces, designed to foster community. You will find good signs with clear communication here. All of our lodgings are off-grid with no electricity or running water. Water, electricity, and wifi are available in the kitchen, garden, cafe, and lounge areas. Please bring battery-operated lights, bedding, and a pillow, unless otherwise noted. We request that campers check in before 8 pm. More than a campground this is a destination, come for the weekend or stay for the week. We have camping, glamping, and cabins available throughout the summer months. We also offer tours of the animals and gardens. There is a shower house, bathhouse, summer kitchen, library, cafe, fiber studio, yarn shop, and lots of outdoor seating. Additionally, we have safe potable water, a portable toilet, and two charcoal/wood barbeques available for your use on the patio. Come, walk in the gardens, smell the roses, put your feet in the creek, then sit by the fire and watch the stars come out. Compass Rose Farms is the host and mother to many businesses and projects. Our gardens provide flowers, food, medicine, and the magic for weddings and celebrations. The Weavers Grove holds our spiritual center and sanctuary, a place to wander and connect to land and spirit. The Farm supports our flock of Icelandic sheep, Compass Rose Wool Mill, Hipcamp, and our many fledgling start-ups.

Twin Beach Campground CAMPRAD

(We're in winter season and there is on going projects but the camp sites are still open for the time being) Twin Beach Campground is outside of Joyce Washington near Port Angeles in Clallam County. The camp sites are directly across the street from Twin Beach. It has 5 numbered spots available with private fire pits and picnic tables in each site for you to set up camp whether it's a tent or van/camper with picnic benches and fire pits. There is a small communal shack where you can prepare your meals. Fire pit available for communal use - so don't forget to bring ingredients for s'mores! Interaction with host or other guests completely up to you! Humans of all ages welcome. Once you have fully settled in - less than a min walk away there is access to a river (river showers welcome) and almost as close by you'll find the beach - surf, swim or just sit with some great views! There is a laundromat, small convenient store and gas station only 10 min away. 30 min drive in to Port Angeles where you'll find a great small town with great food, antique stores and shops. Find great breakfast at Oak Table cafe in Sequim and Chestnut Cottage Restaurant in Port Angeles are just of the great options available. Bike trails just short drives away. Lake crescent and hikes for all levels and distances all within a 45 min drive if not less! Feel free to ask for suggestions and message with any questions as well.
