We are in close proximity to the Ice Age Trail, and the natural treasures of the great Horicon Marsh, Lake Sinnissipi/Rock River with canoeing/kayaking/fishing, Ledges County Park, and the world-renowned Holy Hill Shrine. Nearby Hustisford ("Husti") offers unique shopping and dining experiences. Need a few organic groceries? Make sure to visit Back To The Best Organic grocer only 3 miles away, featuring food raised on local organic farms including Purplehaze Acres. We offer a variety of camping alternatives, with 7 tent sites, 1 group site, and a cabin. There is potable water, charcoal grills, firepit grates, eggs and, available for purchase, firewood. Your approach via 1/2-mile dirt drive up the hills and through the woods . . . to not your grandmother's typical house you go. Riley Crest Farm is located in Amherst, Wisconsin. Close to Hartman Creek St Park, on the north side of Hwy 54. We are diversified farm. We have a small herd of dairy cows, 100 dairy/meat goats, a horse named Willow, a couple pigs, lots of cats and a dog. We specialize in goats for meat and milk, 100 grazing girls roam 30 acres of pasture close to camping. Our goats are very friendly. We are currently not milking goats. We have a spring fed 3 acre pond to paddle around if the water level is high enough. Swimming not recommended. Primitive tent and camper sites available. We welcome horses, bring your own fence. Trails on farm for walking or riding and close to Hartman Creek State Park trails. Dogs are okay, but must be on a leash for the safety of our livestock. Our on site camper offers a bathroom, no shower. Gas generator to run electricity is included for lights and basic appliances. Bring your own water containers, available to fill at the farm. We can accommodate larger groups. You can book the whole site for private setting too. Welcome to the farm!

Disconnect and relax at our lake house! This beautiful lake home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bath. This semi-private lake is stocked with fish making it great year-round. Have fun on the full-size pool table on the lower level or playing one of the myriads of games or cards. There is a large, curved screen t.v. and dozens of DVD's to choose from. Have your morning coffee watching the sunrise while looking out the new picture windows. Make your meals in a newly remodeled, fully stocked kitchen with oven, coffee maker and electric skillet. The main floor has a master bedroom with king size bed and a full bath. The second story has two additional bedrooms and full bath. One bedroom with a queen size bed, the other with 2 full size. There are 2 additional rollaway beds. The Weber grill is fully functioning in the winter. Feel free to make a campfire if you want to brave the elements! Nearby, Westfield has a natural spring, pub and grills, consignment shops and Amish market. The area has bicycle trails and the roads are open for ATV’s. This is our happy place, and we love to sharing it with others!

Citizen scientists and professionals alike can get a sense of what is involved in land restoration and see firsthand the results. Guests can hike and take wildlife photographs. There is an abundance of native oak savanna/prairie species such as wild lupine, big blue stem, bergamot, dotted horse mint, lead plant etc. Property is 15 minutes to Hartman Creek state park, which offers swimming , fishing, and hiking. The Chain o Lakes Waupaca/King is 25 minutes. Crystal River offers tubing and kayaking which is a 25 minute drive. Historic downtown Waupaca 25 to 30 minutes. Downtown Wild Rose is 15 minutes. EAA Air Venture grounds are 1 hour and 56 miles. With the nice-sized camp/picnic area, guests can relax, look down on a portion of the property, enjoy the fire ring depending on burn restrictions. Bring your telescope to take in the night sky and stargaze! The property ranks a 4 on the 1 to 9 Bortle scale for light pollution, with 9 having the most pollution. The property is close (2.4 miles) to a non-connected portion of the Ice Age Trail. Depending on the time of the summer, photographing the Federally endangered Karner Blue Butterfly is a possibility! Tent is a canvas outfitter-style 12 x 12 tent. Electricity is provided at the site with one extension cord that reaches inside the tent. There is also a metal park-style charcoal grill on site adjacent to the the tent.
