Site 3 - Mojave Moonlight Campground
I had a great time tent camping. It was quiet, peaceful, and with an amazing view.

Real Camping
It’s what we expect from primitive camping: solitude, beautiful wide-open spaces, and off-the-beaten path. A bonus was that there’s no need to build a fireplace. Moonlight Mohave is an inspiration for new campers because it’s a perfect example of real camping !

Camping in the Mojave Desert
5/5 stars. The night sky was a wonderful sight. Directions are clear for the day time but at night it may be a little confusing. If you find your self in the same situation as me and happen to arrive at night time. Make sure you use Google maps to track the coordinates before exiting the town. Apple maps brings you to a Church close by.

Nice campground in the desert! My only upset was that all chairs on the camp site were upholstered - when something upholstered stay uncovered under the sun and rain, it s getting killed and become pretty useless )) otherwise, our experience was great!

Amazing camp
We arrived at Kim’s camp during sunset, everything was easily recognizable thanks to the instruction provided. We were completely alone and it was an exceptional experience and feeling of loneliness in the desert. The sunrise from that place is amazing. We slept well and didn’t feel insecure, very peaceful night. There is a campfire and a barbecue grill installed, a few tables with some seats, too. Thanks again, I absolutely recommend it!

My stay
Lovely and isolated spot at #4. Had to cancel my second nights stay due to high winds but the host was more than accommodating to help me reschedule. Will be staying again soon.
