Nestled near Red Rocks, this campsite offers a unique blend of rustic charm and artistic flair. Visitors appreciate the proximity to local attractions and the welcoming nature of hosts Randy and Sabin. While the location is prime, some guests noted that the grounds could use a bit more tidying up, and the pricing feels steep for the amenities provided. Overall, the site's convenience for concert-goers and the quirky, creative atmosphere are standout features.
The caretaker Randy was very kind, communicative and responsive. It was very quiet and just down the street from a cool little town. I recommend the Hungry Goat. Good bites and a friendly staff.
My issue here is that the grounds are not at clean as the photos would have you believe. It was basically like I was parked in a junkyard. The bathroom and shower was not accessible.
I would stay there again if I needed a spot in a pinch however it was not worth the $50. I’ve stayed at much nicer campsites with a lot more amenities for less.
We had no problems at this site. We were a parking spot away from the other RV camper which was not ideal but we managed. We did not have hookups because the other RV was using it and we didn’t want to bother them to share. We did not need bathroom so felt the place was very overpriced, just to park. Unless you are going to a show and need the location, it would not be my first choice, simply due to the cost.
Pretty spot. Friendly and helpful host. A great place to spend the night.
