After many years here we are sharing our special place. An ideal Mountain base for your Red Rocks Concert home or just a get away. We strongly encourage you to learn more about this area if planning a visit. A tiny wilderness with a 22 foot Tepee. For one to six guests that is nestled in a pine grove near a small brook, with mountain views, and hiking trails. In a picturesque setting on seven acres, part of the old Granzella estate, that is surrounded by old growth of pine and Aspen forests and meadows at an elevation of 7400 feet. Come enjoy our cozy little oasis. Easy access, only a minute and a half from Colorado Highway 285, with a variety of different types of restaurants just a couple minutes away, and a few shopping areas in Aspen Park Shopping Center and beyond to the west on 285. There are different mountain parks such as Meyer Ranch open space park across the valley, a half mile hike from the camp site, with a 4.5 mile hiking trail to the top of the small mountain across the valley Red Rocks Amphitheater Park in Morrison is a short drive, just at the bottom of the 285 Turkey creek canyon The well known Tiny Town and it's railroad is just down the road a few miles for the kids of all ages. Great Red Rocks Camping
Great for what it is. It did rain the first night and our bedding got a little wet but we pushed everything to the walls of the teepee and it dried out pretty quickly! Violet and her husband were very kind. The air mattress was firm and full but bring what you need to make it comfortable. They had toilet paper available and let us fill a few water jugs so we could use our gas grill. The road was close but the traffic was more like white noise. We were more disturbed by the construction noise on the weekday mornings that we stayed, but hopefully that passes soon. The walk up wasn't too bad. Toilet was what you'd expect of camping. Fifteen minutes away from Red Rocks. There is also a City Market (with Starbucks), a gas station, and the best breakfast diner five minutes away and a walking park two minutes away. Worth it for a Red Rocks concert weekend.

Book it!!
Violet is the sweetest, kindest person. I immediately felt safe after being greeted upon arrival. The property is one out of the movies; I went from afraid of camping to suddenly understanding why everyone loves it very quickly. This is somewhere I’d recommend anyone who can handle cool temps at night— your camp fears will be removed once you come here. It’s stunning, peaceful, and safe. And SO CLOSE TO RED ROCKS!

We had a great time! The Tee Pee itself is well made, comfortable and very private and the area is so pretty! They have an outhouse nearby which was very convenient and we loved meeting the kitty, Sammy :) It was a little close to the road so we heard cars all night but we didn’t mind and still had a great time!

Beautiful location

Great location for attending a show at Red Rocks. We purchased a fan for the afternoon and it was super helpful as they had a cord available. We would love to do this all again. Great hosts!
