Hoping to return

We loved the peace and quiet off the beaten path. Our rescue dog Gemma loved the wide open spaces- she ran and played until she was exhausted. Brenda is great host, helping us find her farm when we “got lost!” Total hookups. You can hear the trains in the distance. Best night’s sleep in days.

Simple farmyard, nice people

The host was very friendly and their organic farm is interesting. We purchased organic grass finished beef, eggs and bacon. The farm is remote and there is a long single-lane rock road to their house. It is a real farm and nothing fancy. We just parked in the farmyard with the chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys on the loose. Make sure you check your shoes before going into your camper. No cell phone service, no utilities, no bathroom. I grew up on a farm so I was OK with it. It is not a petting zoo.

A short drive from town. Brenda was warm, friendly and welcoming. This was a good spot to land for the weekend in Emporia. Plug in/water options were nice!

Quiet & Convenient

We were in Emporia for Unbound and this location was awesome! Super convenient, quiet, FHUs and Brenda was a fantastic host. Highly recommend this Hipcamp!

Bare Ass Acres

Brenda is an exceptional hostess, you’ll want for nothing at this site. Wonderful views and a great bass pond to fish in. Dogs do not require a leash, which my friend Loki loved.
