Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next Storrie Lake State Park adventure.
Discover Storrie Lake State Park's serene waters and vibrant wildlife.
Storrie Lake State Park is so close to Las Vegas, you can spend your day outside exploring and your night enjoying the city. The lake is a windsurfer’s paradise (and a dream for the photographer who wants to capture the colorful fleets) and there’s also ample boating, sailing, and canoeing out on the water. Take dip at the swimming beach or challenge your crew to a round of volleyball. With beach and boat-in primitive campgrounds, you won’t have to go far from your tent to find adventure. Spend a night under the stars or take a trip down the strip in Las Vegas. We’d love to tell you what happens there, but we heard it stays there. Storrie Lake State Park + Las Vegas = an epic trip for the books!
The best time to visit Storrie Lake State Park is during the warmer months from April to September, when the park extends its hours from 6am to 9pm and the full range of activities can be enjoyed. Winter months offer a quieter visit but with limited access from 7am to 5pm.
