Electrical, water, and sewage hookups are available at select sites.
Currently looking for long term summertime RV and Vanlife guests to round out our tight little community! No tents. Come visit and see what makes every one who has stayed here fall in love with this amazing little slice of heaven in the desert.
My description:
This is a convenient spot in the city of Phoenix, but it feels like you are camping in the country. Closest neighbors are 150 feet away. I've got 2.3 acres, 5 minutes to Walmart, movie theater, 100's of dining choices in Norterra shopping complex. You'll be behind tall fence/block wall on a full acre to spread out on. (Bring an extension cord for prime spots if applicable) There is some light highway and minimal residential noise if that matters to you. You will hear birds nesting in our cacti, see tons or dove, finches, numerous species of hummingbirds or even hear some coyotes yipping at nighttime. We are about a 4 minute drive from a nice hiking area.
3 30 amp and 2 50 amp power added September 2022. Full time campsite manager on site now. Laundry has free large capacity machines. Water pressure and quality is great.
The campfire has tree shade with table and chairs. Extension cord power (when available). Water hose for water. Septic system with tap at campsite. Quiet generators are fine for summer A/C. If you need 30 or 50 amp power you'll have to park closer to the domes or have an extension. Electric hookups...contact for availability. There is an acre to choose your perfect spot, but power and water might not be exactly where you want it.
Please be respectful of the property and all of our neighbors as we are surrounded by residential housing. Please drive slow inside the property and keep the gate closed when not in use as there are coyotes in the area. Please do let us know ahead of time if you are afraid of dogs or have allergies. My manager has a small pup and there are others here depending who is staying.
I have perfect drinkable amazing deep-well zero particulate well water. Inside my extra geo dome I have a shower, sink, and toilet. While 40 years old and ugly, they are functional. You are welcome to camp or relax inside the 40 foot dome, BUT THERE ARE NO BEDS OR BEDDING. This Hipcamp listing is for camp and RV sites only, not a bed in a geo dome.
Please message with arrival time so we can meet you at the gate.
I had a good time last year, so I came back. Was sad to see Danielle wasn't hosting anymore, but Brenda might even be better. Nice quiet and safe place, no frills but who needs them
I was very pleased staying here for two nights in my camper! They provided a very clean bathroom with full shower, kitchen and laundry room, so I offered to take a spot with electric only. Directions were clear to find the location and to get to the gate where the host met me. Everyone was so friendly, and helpful (I jack-knifed my trailer on my first day-haha). It was such a convenient location, close to gas, coffee, shopping and less than 5 mins to I17. It is still very quiet at night, (Sorry i was the loudest when I had to prep to leave the next morning) otherwise all I could here were coyotes, making it feel like I was still out in the country. I am very excited to stay again and see the finished dome projects in the future. Thank you!!!
Cheap place to crash 20 miles from Phoenix, off I 17 , on a lot surrounded by the suburbs. Nice shower with towels provided and washer/ dryer. Only one bathroom for all staying there so if you’re not self contained you might wait while others shower. Fill your jugs ahead or bring a water safe hose— no way to fit jugs under the spigot. Safeway nearby
The clothes dryer did not work, as it didn’t put out any heat. Otherwise a good stay. Very quiet. Nice neighborhood. Lots of quail running around and bunnies. Coyotes howling in the neighborhood open space out back.
Would NEVER stay here again. Not only did my host NEVER reply to 3 text and a phone call message there was NO one there to show us where to park. There are abandoned vehicles and trash/junk all over the property
The ONLY saving grace was I did feel safe behind a closed gate in the neighborhood. We left first light in the morning. The "bath\kitchen house" was filthy and in disarray and I had to flush the toilet by lifting the lid and pull up the chain inside the tank myself. I could go on but I think you get the points.....don't bother
What a great place to camp. Wonderful location, beautiful place. Plenty of space. Clean facilities. Nice setup. Priced affordable.
