Welcome Campers and Nature Enthusiasts!
After 10 years on my vision board, I bought 10 acres in the high desert! My hope is that you come experience and embrace the solitude. The days are quiet and the night sky is mesmerizing!
Occasionally we get a visit from our neighborhood cows.
Coming Soon: Hummingbirds and HogsPrimitive Prairie High Desert Campsite: Pitch your tent or pull up your RV, Skoolie or van to a somewhat flat high desert 10 acre homestead. You will enjoy one full acre to yourself or with family and friends. Open one acre space of prairie desert land. Completely off-grid. 90 minutes away from traffic lights. The closest town with traffic lights is Gallup, New Mexico to the North, or Show Low, Arizona to the South. Campsites include Juniper Trees, buffalo grass, and may contain protected species of cactus. Primitive composting toilet on each site. **Campfires are dependent on local Dept of Forestry Fire Restrictions** Pack it in, pack it out. (Except for our on-site compost toilet, we’ll take care of that) Just poop and go. 😊
We are on-site and are here for support if you need us. However, we will allow you your privacy.
Dogs are welcome. We do have dogs on-site as well, so if your dog is not dog friendly please keep your dog on leash or contained.
