These 7 acres are home to the DharmaFarmily. Established as a farm homestead on 1-1-11 with the intention towards an organic farm, this space has gone through many stages of evolution. It started with two women in love and inspired to live closer to nature, feed themselves and others, and know where their food comes from. The realization quickly came that many more hands would be needed to transform the space into a productive farm with infrastructure to support that. Many hands did come and eventually the space became a temporary home to dozens of wwoofers and many others as well. Then as the relationships of the people here shifted in new and wonderful ways we began to hold space as a birthing sanctuary. Here there is a profoundly palpable healing energy and it is a transformational space of spiritual growth. What we've found, and the reason the name "Dharma Farmily" came to us, is that truly we humans are the ones being farmed, for our Dharma. Many have come and experienced incredible catalyzation towards their soul's deepest desire to live in that space of offering their greatest gifts to the world and experiencing the timeless unconditional happiness that goes along with that. Now as a family with little ones we are focused on planting our space of love, with permaculture guiding us in creating a biodynamic food forest that will offer an amazing exchange with this beautiful land, providing us with many kinds of nourishment for body and soul as we in turn nurture this part of Earth's body. We live simply and with the whole of our planet in the forefront with each choice we make. Come see where we're at on our journey if you'd love to! Dharma Farmily
Landen is a generous and kind host. I loved the night sky, the family and ease of being on the property. He even let me take a shower in the house since the outdoor shower was still winterized. I truly appreciated that! I recommend this site.

Dharma Farmily
Among the Best Hipcamp Experiences
I loved everything about this experience. I was honored to be their second Hipcamp guest and the first long-term one over four nights. (The hosts are experienced with guests through other venues.) The Dharma Farmily consists of Landen, Holly, their creative young children, other adults who are part of the intentional community, chickens, and two incredibly friendly dogs named Jasper and Cedar, who became my good friends during the stay. My campsite was peaceful under the starry sky and one night with the bright full moon, which prompted lots of beautiful vocalization from the chickens, dogs, neighboring cattle and horses, and far off coyotes. Nighttime temperatures were 28 to 38 degrees and my small tent was shielded enough from the wind. (Sadly, the current county fire ban did not allow a campfire.) The outdoor composting toilet was well maintained. The outdoor shower was not working so the family was generous about allowing me to use their indoor shower. I received superior travel advice for my visits to the Grand Canyon South Rim, Jerome (not to be missed!), and Sedona. I highly recommend their modestly priced farm tour, which includes their gardens, practical information about organic farming, sustainability, philosophy of life, and intentional community. I'll be applying the best of the knowledge to my small urban plot at home. This was my fifth Hipcamp experience and among my favorites. I definitely want to return. Thank you, Landen, Holly, and the Dharma Farmily!
