This is a 750 acre cattle farm that has been in our family for four generations. It boarders the national park on the entire south side. You are approximately 1 mile from Woolum access at the Buffalo national river. We own Rough Edge Hollow and you can overlook the Buffalo national river from there. Many bluffs and a natural creek runs through the property. Lots of hiking and very excluded. This property is approximately 1 mile from the Woolum access at Buffalo National River. It has been family owned for four generations. Our grandfather owned this part of the river before it was turned into a federal property. This property has never been available for the public. There are amazing views of bluffs and a gorgeous natural creek. Lots of hiking and only minutes away from Arkansas Highland Trail, The Narrows, and many more beautiful views! We are a nationally recognized dark sky area and on a clear night the stars alone are worth the trip. Exquisite sunrises and sunsets as well! Small dogs and dogs on leashes will be allowed. If dogs chase cattle, we ask that you don’t bring them. Some locations will require 4wd, or we can drive you to the location. We ask that people don’t try to get close to cattle if there are any at your location. We will try to put you in a place that doesn’t have cattle. Fires are welcome as long as the county isn’t under a burn ban. We ask that you please clean your sites before leaving. We have an abundance of places to choose from. We can accommodate rvs, but not in all of the more secluded areas.

Gorgeous views and room to roam!
Tent · Group trip
My partner and I camped here for the eclipse and it was so magical! The land itself is incredible, situated atop massive rolling hills with patches of tall beautiful trees. We walked down into a valley just below our site and spent the afternoon following a creek through the forest. It’s close to the buffalo and has plenty of space to spread out. Our second night we moved to the best site on the ranch and the views were incredible! Scarlett is super sweet and everyone we interacted with was very kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend! **there were a TON of ticks when we were there. Par for the course in the spring, but definitely bring some repellent.

Great for eclipse
Tent · With pets
Beautiful location to see the 2024 eclipse from the path of totality. As stated in the listing, this is a cattle ranch - there will be cow poop! We had no issue avoiding or kicking it out of the way. Due to road closures, the last few miles to the ranch were dirt/gravel roads. We did not have a specific assigned camping site, and were allowed to choose our own spot. We had 4 tents between our group and had ample space. No issues. Plenty of space. Beautiful views. Would camp here again.

My family and I tent camped for the solar eclipse. The property is breathtaking and super close to the Buffalo river as well as many creeks and streams. Very private with lots of space from any other campers. Accessible without a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Scarlett was friendly and accommodating. We will be back!
