Learn more about this land: Located deep in the heart of the Ozarks in one of the dragon tail switchbacks (six 10 MPH curves back-to-back) on Arkansas Highway 123 about 2 miles south of Mt Judea (Judy). Camp Switchback is a few miles north of Sam’s Throne and a few miles south of the Buffalo National River Carver landing and property adjoins the Ozark National Forest. General Store is less than 5 minutes from campsite. Mostly flat, 200' by 75' campsite area, with ability to pull or back in off the highway and most likely turn around on the site. Gorgeous setting through a (very) winding country road. Switchback is an accurate name, I’ve rarely seen so many 10mph road signs ! If you don’t need a lot of amenities this is a great “ away from it all” spot. Not far off the road but also very little traffic. Despite my last minute booking and a late night arrival, John was a courteous and most helpful host.
