Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
This extraordinary 200 acres is magical and host a wildness which feels peaceful and secure. It is also the home of the developing Wisdom Retreat Center eco-preserve noted for quality of beauty and silence. Many Indian arrow heads have been found here indicating former residences of indigenous tribes. There are many open meadows and old growth forest to hike and explore.
The perfect escape! This place was everything we wanted & more. Nice lake to float & canoe in. Large campsite. Hot showers. Hiking trails. Our family had a great time!!!
We had the absolute best time. Adam was a clear and helpful communicator the minute we booked the site. The cabin itself was definitely rustic - no bathroom and the only source of heating was a wood stove in the living room (so keep that in mind if you’re staying October-March; it gets cold at night and you’re throwing logs onto the fire every few hours). That said, the bed was arguably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever stayed on in a short term rental. The cabin had everything we needed, including beautiful trails, snow for the boys to sled on, and a chance to mentally reset and disconnect from our devices. There is WiFi near the main house so if you have to get online, there are no issues. I look forward to coming back with more friends and family.
If you want to visit a nice large area lots of trees, meadows, and a large pond with a rustic cabin with the basics you need to feel cozy?! This is the place!
This was our fourth time at shambala cabin and we will keep coming every year! Adam was great and is such a kind host. We highly recommend to everyone!
