Come make yourself at home on our beautiful 10 acre property just up the road from the town of Mendocino. This site is only a 5 min drive to town, so it’s close to the beach, river access and local restaurants and shops.. Walk through the redwoods or enjoy the sunshine, the property offers a bit of it all!
We have 4 different sites to choose from. 3 sites can accommodate recreational vehicles of different sizes and 1 site is just for tents.
Pitch your tent under the redwoods, or in our lovely open area! Pick from one of our private zones nestled in the trees or the open space by our vertical Redwood carving! Large groups are welcome to book all 4 sites and have the property all to your self. Enjoy the cool shade of the redwoods all while being in the sunbelt just 4.5 miles from town of Mendocino! The property has tons of hang out spots! Eat lunch over at the picnic tables, stare up at the stars at our moon gazing bench, or hang out in our communal area, over by the campfire.. We also have an outdoor shower and kitchen sink area that are open to all. The property runs parallel with Mendocino state parks and has plenty of spots to explore! Our main goal is to make you feel at home!
Some things to know;
-Cell service is very spotty onsite.
-There is one communal fire pit. (NO fires at individual site)
-Please remember “ pack it in pack it out”
-We do our best to be good land stewards, please do the same.

We enjoyed camping in this beautiful setting. The outdoor shower is a nice touch. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating, and they did it in a way that enabled us to feel "on our own" and "away from it all" while knowing that help was close by if we needed.

A beautiful forest hideaway! Clear directions and easy to find. Level sites for tent, van, or truck camping. Can’t wait to stop by again as a base camp for more Mendo adventures.

Very enjoyable!
26 ft pop-up camper
We enjoyed our visit in October. There are 4 campsites and 2 of the nights we were alone. The set-up is lovely with hammocks at each campsite and a common fire pit, as well as outdoor shower, an area to do dishes and outhouses. We stayed in space 1 since we had a trailer and it is larger. It is a bit near the road and you hear cars but at night there is literally no traffic so very quiet to sleep. Close to Mendocino. We enjoyed fewer people and the place was very clean (often public campsites have plenty of litter around the site). We will definitely stay there again.

Nate couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Great spot and a wonderful place from which to explore all of the magic of Mendocino.

A Great Discovery!
21 ft Class B
My brother and I toured the Mendocino coast over a 4-day weekend. We rented a sprinter van and stopped at 3 HipCamp sites along the way. This site was by far the most fun. Nat was super responsive and even greeted us when we arrived and gave us a private tour. It's clear that he loves hosting and - specifically - creating spaces that foster connection. The site had everything we needed included a super fun and clever shower and sink area. The firepit was a great place to hang out and came with a lot of thoughtful touches. The space nicely fit our 21' RV and we really appreciated all of the amenities, including wifi. Thanks a ton, Nat!!
