Welcome to our home. 5 acres in Phelan, Ca 10 miles from Wrightwood and Victorville. Come spend a night and enjoy a soak in our wood burning hot tubs. We have chickens, greenhouse, an orchard, solar, a windmill come experience our bit of paradise. We have had two single women both with Toyota Tundra trucks. Feeling safe was important to them, it has always been safe here with plenty of peace and quiet. Phelan is a semi rural area with good neighbors. Tesla charging is available.

Good communication and directions. Super friendly. It was very quiet and had full hook ups. Level spot. Roads in and out are bumpy - just take it slow and all is good. Close to grocery store. Would definitely stay again.

Paradise off the beaten path
9 m travel trailer ·
A neat little desert paradise off the beaten path. Quite literally. Lol. A quaint and private property just out from the rest of the world enough, to have that private retreat away from all the loud parks. I needed a quiet retreat while on this trip, to reset after being in parks crammed up next to other folks. Brek was super gracious and wonderful and met me down the road to help guide me in. As it’s necessary because the road in is a little rough if you don’t have him to follow in. I felt better having that help and had no trouble getting in with his help, in my 30’ TT. I also got to join in on the grill and throw on a steak I had brought with me. The nighttime was very peaceful and quiet. There were a lot of quail around and they were just the cutest! The sunset was also a treat. Warning there’s higher winds here. The highway in was a bit of a wild ride. But all in all it was worth it and if I find myself along this path again in the future, I would stay again for sure!

This was a good stay. The host was very nice and helped us backup, find the spot as it is a little challenging at night time. Once we were settled he gave us good spots to check out. Super friendly. Would definitely go back

I was looking for a place where it’s quiet and calm without a bunch of neighbors to stop with my airstream for a couple few days for solid rest on my way to phoenix. Brett and Alma’s place was perfect for this. Soaking in that hot tub and looking out over the wide open horizon was everything. I had a rough arrival (make sure you ask for directions, google maps sent me down some roads with dips and turns not ideal for an Rv. The route I learned about later was a dirt road, but pretty flat and a straight shot to their property.) and Brett came out to help with kindness and helpful positivity. He helped me back in (I’m still pretty new to towing), asked where I’d like the hot tub, set it up and got the fire started, and taught me how to work with it. We all had a chat and then they left me to my privacy and texted a check in a couple times. Brett recommended a a cute little mountain town nearby that I got to enjoy checking out as well as some hikes and other places that I didn’t do since I mostly just needed some stillness. I got that stillness and felt restored by the time I left. Definitely a nice spot to get away from it all.

Brek was a great host & very responsive. The property was quiet & peaceful, which is exactly what we were looking for. It's a great stopping point for us as we head to other parts of Cali.
