Campers must extinguish all fires before leaving the fire pit area. Water is available from nearby hoses to extinguish fires. Due to the high fire danger in the area, it is imperative that fire safety rules are adhered to by the campers. Never leave a fire unattended and always COMPLETELY extinguish all fires at the end of the evening. This is the responsibility of the campers. No outside wood allowed. Firewood is available for purchase on site, if not added during booking, and kindling and torches are available to all guests for getting your fire started.

If you are uncomfortable with water that comes from a well on the property, you can bring in your own. However, the well water is tested and potable and we drink it everyday! Additionally, a Brita pitcher with filtered well water is available in the fridge at the kitchen. Please help keep it clean and full for the next person.

Please be mindful to dispose of trash and recyclables in the proper bins. Your hosts are saving flat bottom glass bottles for a bottle wall project. It requires two identical bottles to make a 'bottle brick'. The bottle bricks will be used in a glass wall project on the campsite. We are also collecting BLUE bottles for use in another bottle project. If you have any interesting glass bottles that you would like to see incorporated into one of our bottle projects, we welcome all donations!

SUPER CUTE!!
18 ft campervan
Super cute!! In the heart of the desert, there’s this adorable campsite with everything you need—bathroom, hot shower, lounge chairs to relax, and even a kitchen. Plus, Rosemarie is so sweet and helpful. She was easy to reach via messages and gave us all the necessary instructions. We only stayed for one night, but I would have gladly stayed another for a bit more relaxation!

Our desert retreat ❤️
My husband and I arrived on one of the hottest days of the year and it was a wonderful retreat. All the amenities were in place and we were able to just rest and get out to Joshua Tree in the early Am. Best part was being able to lay on the trampoline looking at the stars -the Milky Way was visible! The tent cabin doubles as a good blind for watching desert chickens flock and desert rabbit too. We were the only ones staying those nights, so I imagine it would have been a very different, but still enjoyable time if we’d had neighbors sharing the space with us.

I always love tent camping on Rose’s Collective! She is an absolutely wonderful host- lives onsite, greets you when you arrive, has lived there for years and can recommend places to eat, hike, go, etc. and beyond that is one of the kindest coolest ladies to share time with, or not - if you’re looking for that too! She has also created an amazing space with rad amenities that make hanging, cooking, and relaxing beyond easy (See amenities) !! Also, I happen to love the location as it is close to pioneer town, j-tree and shops, markets, etc 💛💛💛💛 🌵

Rosemarie is a great host. Very responsive and showed us around the property when we arrived. The property has great amenities that you can use while there such as a fridge and stove top so you do not have to worry about packing a camp stove or a cooler. The toilets were very clean. Also, most of the electricity on site is solar powered! The location is great too! Very peaceful at night - no sound of cars, and you have an amazing view of the night sky. Would definitely stay there again.
