We had an amazing time at Tammy's campsite! It was so lovely to meet and chat with her, she was very helpful with showing us around the campsite and giving very clear directions on how to find the area. Everything was very organized and set up very well for us to have the best weekend there. The bathroom was very clean as well. The people around the campsite were all very friendly and kind! We can't wait to go back!

Privacy, location & clean bathroom!

First off, Tammy is wonderful! She was a great communicator, very friendly and let us meet her lovely pig, Miss Piggy. All the park campgrounds were booked on a holiday weekend, so this was a great find for about the same price. The stars were super bright, they did have fire pits that you can use if it is not windy and even some games you can play. Honestly one of the best perks to this place was the clean, flushable bathrooms. When you are camping, it’s nice to have a well lit space with four walls that does not smell like a portapotty to just have a personal break for going to the bathroom, brushing your teeth or getting changed. This alone makes it more work going to that the rec parks. The rec parks, you hold your breath, squat over the seat, do your minimum business and get the heck out of there. No noisy neighbors, no generators or music. They have some furniture there, but I wish we brought some loungers to lay out because we were cranking our necks looking at all the stars.

A MUST stay

Tammy and Miss Piggy were so welcoming and hospitable! Tammy made sure we got to her camp safely and she was so lovely to talk to. Tammy always responded very fast when communicating over text. Meeting Tammy and Miss piggy was definitely the highlight of our Joshua trip! The camp was clean and fun. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Joshua!!

Awesome experience!

the camping plot was flat, clean and tammy was gracious enough to have each camp site furnished with a firepit, tables and chairs. The campsite we had was directly next to the teepee campsite and we did have slight issue with the individuals who rented that site out as they parked a few feet from our tent and we had to gently ask them to move so that we wouldn't have any surprise car door slams next to us while we slept. Besides that, beautiful and secluded site with great views! be careful if you have a small car though, the road to the campsite is pretty brutal!

A very quiet, low-key place to get away for a few days. Nice stars and a friendly host!

Above and Beyond Host

Wow what a gem of a campsite! Can't recommend enough, incredible hosts. Meeting the camp pig was also a highlight :D It's pretty sandy (duh) and we thought we had all wheel drive, but turns out we didn't :') That was the only struggle and Tammy went above and beyond to help us park in safe spots, ensure a safe arrival, and even secured our tent when the wind blew it away while we were gone. This was the perfect holiday camping getaway!
