Golden Briar hosts 4 camping sites; Orchard, Horseshoe, and Creek are well suited for tents and Orchard and Horseshoe can accommodate an RV. Additionally, we offer 2 bounded sites which are large enclosed gated campsites ideal for exploring children or off leash pets. Beautiful 10 acre wooded property with trails, bass pond, and a year-round creek. Access to flush toilet and hot shower. Picnic tables and benches throughout. ALL sites have fresh potable water, electricity, lights and propane fire pits. Propane available for purchase. Hot Tub and shaded relaxation deck are available 24hr. Comfortably close between Grass Valley and Auburn California. Naggiar Winery 1mi away with wine tasting and weekend live music.

Orchard Site

Absolutely beautiful property! Terry goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is flawless. The attention to detail does not go unnoticed. Creek flowing through with a little waterfall, deer, turkeys, a fox, and owls at night. The proximity to Nevada City and Auburn made it an ideal location for us (about 20mins to both) Don’t forget to say hi to Gordon, the playful and rambunctious Basset Hound. He’s definitely one of the main attractions!

Superb Host and Campsite!

Horseshoe Site

We had an amazing experience staying on Terry's land with our travel trailer. The amenities (hot tub, potable water access, restroom, and hot shower) were all superb and camping sites are spacious and super quiet. Terry is very easy to connect with - both in advance and with anything needed while camping there. Nevada City and Grass Valley are both around 25 minutes away and the drive through the neighboring countryside to get there is gorgeous. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Eastern Gated

Great space, especially for families. Access to the deck with a grill was a nice touch. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked amazing, especially with the sunset.

Creek Site

What a beautiful property myself and my husband got lucky to stay the night on! Loved how the site is private with a propane fire pit readily available! Truly admired the lush landscape around the camp site as well as the creek, it was so peaceful sleeping with the sound of the creek while having the cool weather! Would definitely recommend!

Horseshoe Site

it was one of the best place to camp, the hot tub and showers were clean. I am coming back again. The owner welcome us and made sure we had all we need it and shoed us the property.
