We had a fantastic time! It’s a great location of quiet and private, but close enough to town and JTSP. We did bring everything and the picnic table was a great plus. No toilets available but for $20 bucks you can pick up a porta potty on Amazon. Definitely recommend it.

Host Joo was communicative and their site was fine for camping. There is a fire ring and picnic table as well as a side table near the fire. Ample parking, and the solar lights were a nice touch. The snow-capped view towards Mt. San Gorgonio was amazing at sunrise! Close to the village, and I got quickly to the site in a small car without issue. The only thing that would have been a nice add-on would be a cooking grate on top of the fireplace. Thank You!

This is not a real campside, just someone's property in the desert with no facilities. Host wasn't even on the property.
I ended up not staying there because it felt very odd.
Ps: her directions where confusing.

Beautiful site, loved the solar lamps and picnic bench. So much space and the sunsets and sunrises were out of this world. Highly recommended.

Great quiet, open land!
Joo’s land was great! It’s wide open and not too far off 62 yet still quiet. You could still see some of the “town” lights but it’s a great option when you can’t get the perfection of Joshua Tree NP campsites. The site is just as posted, no surprises. One note I will add is, just like the other hip camp sites nearby and not the fault of Joo, when it’s windy it is VERY windy in that valley - which makes securing a tent difficult in the sand and makes having a fire pretty risky since the fire pit on site has open sides for embers to exit even if it’s a small fire.
Joo was very quick to respond and provide information- very accommodating and just an easy reservation to make. All in, we had a really positive experience!!
