Wine country cabin 2
I loved our overnight stay at Lisa’s wine country cabin. It was comfortably rustic but with all the comfortable amenities you could ever want. The bed was comfortable, the outdoor garden area was inviting, and the history of the property made the stay more special. Would love to come back and stay longer!

The Creekside Spot
Parking next to street traffic was not our expectation. We hoped it would have been more private and secluded. Definitely not worth the amount of $$ we paid. Choose other options for Hipcamp stay!
The Creekside Spot
Parking spot with a nice yard
Was a little disappointed in the parking spot which has you right up against the main road with little privacy between you, the road, the main house and other cars coming in to park right near you where other units are rented out. On the pricier side for just a Hipcsmp parking spot,

CREEKSIDE BUNK HOUSE
I had a nice time staying in the bunk, it was so beautiful. Pretty small, but perfect for one person. The heater really warmed up the cottage well. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the door. It probably needs replacing.

The Creekside Spot
Lovely property
We booked the Creekside Cabin and the RV site, we had a lovely weekend and the fire pit in the shared space is lovely. Our only issue was that the RV site is pretty tight. If they widened it by a few feet it would be perfect since you have to park next to your trailer. If you have a van you would be just fine.
Perfect location, would go back.

CREEKSIDE BUNK HOUSE
Not Good
The property in general was nice, but there are serious issues that need to be addressed with the small cabin/cottage, and it was way overpriced due to these issues:
1. The front door is constructed of thin wood fencing (old) with gaps at the bottom, which let the cold air in. At least install a real door…
2. The door was split into 2, much like a Dutch door. However, the two wouldn’t stay closed. The top part would fly open as soon as you opened the entire door. The fastener that holds them together needs to fixed ASAP. This would also occur when the door was closed. It seems that the owner, who lives on site in a very nice home, just doesn’t care.
3. As cited in other reviews, the twin mattress is too firm, and extremely uncomfortable. Nothing has been done to remedy this either. For a tiny, rustic space such as this, at least provide a comfortable mattress when you’re charging over $100/night. For these reasons alone, $65/night would barely be acceptable.
4. When I checked in, and was trying to rest, the cleaning ladies across from the cottage were blaring their radio, and talking over this, which was really irritating. I messaged the host, and never received a reply. I ended up being forced to go outside to ask them to turn their blaring radio off, at which time I was met with angry glares.
The host should have at least apologized for this, however I heard nothing.
It felt like the host didn’t care about my stay, or the maint of the cottage. I won’t book again.
