Shííma koh is a beautiful space nestled in the Aptos hills. We are 15 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from town, all whilst being surrounded by redwoods. It’s a quiet place with a beautiful view of the valley and natural spring water. We are a family with a few dogs and livestock who live here. And welcome you to our home. The plateau is a beautifully leveled campsite covered in wood chips for comfort. The plateau has a spectacular view of the valley. We are located between Aptos Hills and Watsonville. Only 10 minutes away from the nearest grocery store in either direction. This location is 20 minutes from the beach either direction. Here you will wake up to songbirds, a roster and goats grazing in the morning. By night you will be surrounded by a start sky and owls flying by. The ambience of shííma koh is nature centered with the conveniences of a compost toilet, hot shower and outdoor kitchen. Please bring your own fire wood or purchase some here. We charge 10$ per extra vehicle and offer $5 for Wi-Fi. Note* There is a semi steep dirt hill to access the amenities. Come prepared. And we apologize that we have yet to construct wheel chair access accommodations. We hope to always improve Shííma Koh for community access and accommodations.

I loved staying at Shiimah Koh! Very responsive host and land a little set back from the street. Wonderful outdoor kitchen, shower, toilet, and fire pit we had all to ourselves. The camping ground is perfectly arranged to park and set up your tent. Super responsive and welcoming host. Waking up next to all the super friendly animals (which is stated at the description). Loved our stay, would come again. Lovely view over the hills and stars at night.

The site looks like 30% of what the pictures depict. The animals are all over the place, ur in someone’s front yard, it’s cramped. The space you “camp in” can’t fit a truck and a medium tent. There’s no fire pits in the spots, nobody was there to receive us, generally nonchalant ownership and care of the property. We came, we saw, we left immediately. I don’t recommend camping here under any circumstances, you won’t even get your money back.

It was so fun to have my first camping experience be here. I felt super safe and loved being greeted by all the animals :) You will probably be waken up by a hollering rooster or goat at an ungodly hour but it’s better than an iPhone alarm! Hope to be back soon<3

The outdoor kitchen made camping a LOT easier for washing dishes and cooking. They had a lot of staples and utensils as well as a large, mini fridge. Location was convenient. We drove to Manresa beach and picked up extra beer from the local store.

Wonderful people with a beautiful home. My girlfriend and I were on a road trip, returning to Vancouver, BC from Southern California and they booked us in last minute. We had a fantastic evening:)
