Out in the Mojave desert not for the faint of heart. Bring your own water, toilet paper, food, and camping gear. True dirt camping with rough terrain, wind, heat, rain and snow in the winter. Cars need to be 4 inches off the ground to make. fire pit is in the ground. There is quail lake if you like to fish and there are ATV’s if you drive north. Not sure about the times. Rake around the fire pit before having fires to prevent wild fires. Thank youTrue desert camping and great place to view the stars. Pitch ur tent during the summer or sleep outside. With little to no coyotes enjoy the night with a nice fire or enjoy the day with fishing and canoeing/kayaking at quail lake. Great place to be out doors for two nights if need help contact me and I can be out within an hour and a half no traffic!

Clear directions, great site with an amazing landscape.
Be prepared for high winds and a little bit of light pollution, but still an amazing view of Joshua Trees and the Tehachapi Mountains!

Unfortunately, we were unable to make it to the camp site. The directions on the app sent us to the wrong place and after the host tried helping us find the spot there was no path to drive to it where we were told there would be one. We ended up having to give up and leave.
