Incredible valley views. Your personal campsite is a very large area with a new underground fire pit, hammock station, a picnic table that seats 6. There is a pass-through driveway that leads up to your site off Sunway Drive. You have 2 acres of land to enjoy and roam and hike in the surrounding areas. You'll have great cell phone reception and 5G connections. Social media and phone calls will be easy at any time. Please be very respectful of the grounds and be very cautious with campfires and smoking. Guest access: There is only ONE way to access the site so please follow the directions exactly. GPS will take you to a route that is not vehicle accessible. You will drive through a residential neighborhood before entering the forest property. Please drive slowly and respectfully. Other things to note: Please pack your trash and take it with you. We do not provide trash cans or bins to avoid scavenging animals and the winds scattering trash. IMPORTANT NOTE: You must have a self-contained toilet system. Please pack out all your own waste. Thank you! 4-wheel drive is recommended but regular cars, up to 30 foot RVs, can access by taking it slow. Low-ground sports sedans access without issue. Please be mindful and understand your vehicle's limits. Parking is available on the campsite itself leading up the driveway. Animal friendly! We love your animal companions. Please pick up after them to keep the property beautiful. Take Pictures and Share We love seeing your artistic portraits of the land and your site while you visit! Quiet with lovely views, many Joshua trees and a fantastic nice sky. Nice to be close to town but also secluded!

Great little quiet spot. Can see a couple other campers in the distance but still felt secluded enough. Easy to pull our 20' trailer, another 2wd low clearance car made it easily going slowly. Would book again.

This was a fantastic site—clean, well-maintained, and wonderfully secluded! It was much more private than being at any of the Park’s campgrounds, making it a great option for us, especially with our dog. He loved having the ability to explore safely off leash. The directions to the site were clear and easy to follow, and everything was exactly as described. There is some nearby property visible from the site, but it still felt very private and peaceful. Would definitely come back!

Spontaneous JT Adventure
7 m travel trailer
Joshua Tree is a magical place but we all know the challenges of getting a campsite in the park without planning months in advanced. David's Campsite made our spur of the moment, spontaneous adventure plans come true. The location was close enough to Yucca Valley for quick errands but private enough to feel like we were boondocking in the middle of nowhere. We were able to ride our bikes into Joshua Tree National Park and spent the weekend exploring. It was nice to have a secure campsite to come home to. Thank you David! We will be back.
