Site #1 the sheep
We arrived and were told to meet the host. No one was at the property. We found our camp, however, the river was very high and therefore the campsite was wet and dangerously close to the water. We wish we would have been notified of the conditions prior to making a three hour drive. We ended up not staying.

#4 the rooster, riverside camping
Beautiful spot, babies animals
Our #4 spot was secluded and absolutely beautiful, with more than enough room to have our 27ft Airstream. Tyler the ranch hand made our camping experience; from letting my kids bottle feed the baby lamb, to chickens and ducks, and even let us see the 5 day old piglets. He was patient and took time out of his busy day to make our experience exceptional. Would highly recommend!
Glenwood Springs Adventure Park is about 12min away, tons of family fun.

Site 2 the horse
This site was massive. Spread out and manicured along the river, there’s plenty of room to enjoy. We had other campers on either side of us but never heard them, the river provided a lovely natural soundtrack to relax to. We had hoped to fish but the river was rippin’! This time of year is its peak height and it’s a sight to see even if the fishing was washed out.
The farm is fun to explore, filled with sheep and horses and peacocks and piggies. Very cool.
We came for the weekend and to enjoy the iron mountain hot springs in Glenwood. We also had a great coffee in town at Colorado Drifters. The camp and the surrounding area is charming. I highly recommend.

Beautiful camping spot along river! My kids and I had fun watching the animals on the property. Tyler was very kind to tell us about them and let my daughters bottle feed a lamb. We had a really nice time, thank you!

Site 2 the horse
Beautiful, meadow site right on the Colorado. Well maintained with nice fire pits and spool tables. Very enjoyable. Also close to hot springs and cute teen of New Castle.
