Beautiful valley nestled amongst ranch lands. Truthfully, its all about the donkeys. The location is unbeatable with bird watching, bucolic farms along the valley with two nearby lakes aproximately 8 miles away and the Weminuche Wilderness area 30 min drive up the road. Durango is a 20 min drive. All too good not to be shared. Come see what its all about and I'll introduce you to the donkeys A.K.A "The Boys" upon your request. Learn more about this land: Opening in July 17, 2022 Two RV spots with valley views of farmland, forests, and wildlife. Two camp spots for self contained vehicles only. Dog friendly. Located 8 miles north of Bayfield towards Vallecito Lake which is a great spot for; canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and bird watching. Also, our county dirt road is quiet and scenic making it perfect for long walks and is quite the local gem for bicyclers. We're surrounded by cattle and horse ranches. Happy to accompany you down the pasture to meet my three donkeys, upon request, who actually run the place! Camp spots are only for self contained camping; small trailers 20' or less plus vehicle. Ideal for camper vans and trucks. Electric hookup is 30 & 50 Amp.

Peaceful with a view

Long Ears Farm & Art

What a great spot to get away from it all! Close enough to Durango to get into town and enjoy the activities there, but nicely removed from the noise and the city. Tori was so nice and helpful, and her setup has spots with a great view of the valley and farms nearby. We brought a Class A and were able to fit (it was snug). The donkeys were friendly and cute, and there’s lots to do in the area.

Beautiful setting, and close to Durango. The host is attentive and friendly. When we return for another visit I hope to stay here again.

Great place to stay. Tori is an accommodating host and the property has an amazing view. Her donkeys were well worth the visit too
