Amazing views
Hipcampers say this spot has amazing views.
Enjoy access to a securely gated, large beautiful farm space with towering mountains and stay active- theres a lot of walking around! Ditch light polluted Honolulu and truly disconnect at an affordable price and get off the beaten path. Hear crashing waves and see hundreds of stars at night. Retreaters will have access to very basic amenities- clean cold hose showers and flush toilets. Interact with locals and other retreaters at our securely gated farm. Truly surround yourself in nature and get ready to be thrown into a tropical jungle atmosphere! Recomended to bring: mosquito repellent shoes camera! Your stay includes: a 7 minute nature walk to community bathrooms and cold hose showers, a safe peaceful space in the community with nearby fruiting trees and bushes, and access to a semi private sandy beach, (perfect for sunset), a 15 minute stroll away. There are martial arts classes occurring on the property mon-fri until about 9-930 pm, so if you see some lights and people as you enter do not worry. There are sometimes events on the weekends on property so I will notify if that is the case. As there will likely not be someone physically there, we have made detailed self check in instructions on a Google Doc ! Please read our instructions carefully and please reach out to the host if you have any questions. A hidden gem for anyone looking for a safe, basic facility secluded place to retreat on the most tropical side of Oahu! Check in time will be after 4 pm, and a link will be provided for arrival instructions and gate code. We have fixed arrival procedures and have clearly labeled signage to ensure you find your campsite! There will not usually be someone physically present to check you in so we have made Google Doc instructions for arrival and finding the bathrooms.

The Great Lawn
It was challenging to have the bathrooms located so far away from the campervan spot. We enjoyed the mountain view, but the bathroom situation, mixed with lots of bugs at night made it challenging to stay there.

Mountain View
Beautiful, restroom far, no shower
The space is basic, big, the view was beautiful, great stargazing at night. Public beach across the street was nice. However, there are a lot of events that happen on weekends in surrounding space-- wedding and a concert, so a lot of unexpected noise. Restroom situation was tough, long walk, uneven ground to toilets. We understood there was a shower, but not that we found. Mason was very responsive when the gate code did not work and had a great suggested spot to watch the sunset. Bring bug spray to prevent being bit up by mosquitos.

Everything as described. Mason was friendly and easy to work with. I messed up my reservation and he fixed it for me very quickly. Gorgeous location.

Great campsite ! Got there after dark but it was easy to find the campsite. Host was super friendly. The walk to the showers was actually really beautiful. A good spot if you wanna explore the north shore. Highly recommend this stay to anyone.

Quiet and peaceful space. Remember to bring bug spray! Obviously this at no fault of Zen Camp… just part of being outdoors.

Almost perfect
Zen Oasis is gorgeous. The view is amazing, there are so many birds, there is a little stream on the land, and the bathrooms are clean and stocked. The only issue I had was that there is a gun range near by and our whole day, from 10am to 4pm, was filled with gun fire. We had dogs that were freaked out, barking and shaking all day.
