Farm to Folklore is an inclusive getaway and activity farm where all are welcome to rest and explore. Rent the farmstays filled with mystery and wonder. An eclectic expression of the rural Midwest mixed with just right touch of the fantastical. Our 40 acre farm has beautiful fields, woods with trails and creeks, and even a small pond with an island. An adventure awaits while walking through the fields, gardens, pond, and forest trails. At the pond one can discover a canoe and kayack for fishing and fun. Bonfire areas throughout the property. Visit with the ponies, ducks, and farm cats. Experiences available for everyone. Close to Indiana Beach, Delphi Historic Wabash and Erie Canal, Brookston Festivals. Please be aware our property is a family farm and we host mutiple stays. Please be respectful of other guests and private spaces. Thank youVisit the Wild Grape Escape and try not to get entangled in the beauty. It is located at Farm to Folklore in the Lost Star Thicket (an old growth oak forest). Stay in an open air structure/wagon. This structure is an original hand built design based on a vintage hay wagon. It is inspired by wild grape vine that grows all throughout the property. Enjoy the forest and fields in its purist form. Provided is a queen bed for relaxation and rest. An additional daybed creates another bed for guests or a sitting area. Cafe table and chairs within the structure create a place to eat your breakfast, read a book, write, or simply to just admire Lost Star Thicket. A dragon clawfoot tub creates a outdoor shower/bath experience next to the bonfire. We provide a solar camp shower(5 gallons) and a hot pot than can be used on the stove to heat water for the bath. 30 gallons of water provided for bathing, cooking, cleaning. An eco friendly compost toilet is available to guests. The kitchenet near the bonfire includes a 1930s propane stove, table with dishes, cast iron pans, cutlery, and cups. Please note no electricity provided at the campsite. In the evening you can warm up with a cozy bonfire and tell those treasured stories. We encourage you to explore the property and check out our experiences.

Such a cool spot!
Such a great spot - sure doesn't feel like central indiana! My kiddos loved the horses and we had a cozy night around the fire enjoying the hammock.

If you are looking for a relaxing, enchanting, respite from day-to-day nonsense of life then Fairytale to Folklore is the place to go!!! Both hostesses were kind and responded quickly to questions. Relaxing stay
Loved this space! It was so relaxing sitting by the fire, laying in the wagon with the breeze or walking around the property. It was rainy when we arrived and off and on through the night. We stayed dry in the wagon and played board games we brought with us. We were able to build a fire with the dry firewood, purchased on site. The tub and kitchenette area were adorable. We enjoyed seeing horses and even spotted a dear on our walk. Would love to have been able to explore more, try out the tub even… maybe on another stay when the weather cooperates better!

Quiet getaway.
The wagon we stayed in did everything we expected it to. Wood was available on site for a campfire. We were able to do some of the trails and pet the horses even though the weather didn’t cooperate. A bunch rain was no big deal for this site. The spot isn’t far from town to get anything you forgot.

Grape Escape: Amazing!!!
This property is so beautiful! The wagon and campsite are utterly gorgeous, the little hiking trails are magical, and the hosts are so nice!!! They were so helpful and accommodating, and awesome to boot! There are horses, cats, chickens somewhere, and a dog that live on the property, as well as wild geese, raccoons, coyotes, and deer that are all surprisingly polite. All in all, this was an amazing experience and I highly recommend staying here!
